Manorama Lodge — Hotel in Assam

We book d 2 triple bed rooms for a night. It is a basic eoom with a clean bathroom . On the main road ., We could hear noise and commotion all night. There was no hot watwr...called the care taker in evening. He turn d on a switch outside the room., Our room didn't have a geyaer inside ...he told its a common geser outside. There was no hot water again in the morning. The bathroom has a hole but no exhaust fanvin it. There are fleece blankets whichbare not changed or washed between guests., No cotton sheets beneath it. Not air conditioned. Hard coir beds. Ita much pricey for what is offwred ., But i think we should be thankful that we got accomodation on...

It's house converted into lodge. Guess typically most of the lodges are in kaziranga. Good for short stay if there no options available. ||Pros||Proximity to central range|Clean rooms|Walkable distance to bus stand||Cons||No boarding||Poor customer service : lady more interested in getting the money rather than guiding about the places to see or to educate how to get passes for elephant safari and jeep safari. Took entire money upfront and post that, was least bothered.||Over priced (paid 1600 for 1 night) : it was a peak season but it's not Value...

Manorama lodge is located near the central zone or the Kohora gate of Kajiranga National Park. It is right on the main road and so it is easy to locate. The host is quite cordial. The rooms are in good condition and clean. You cannot expect luxury items in the rooms but you can get the basic necessities. Fooding is not available though. The coordinator who arranged rooms for us here is Prafulla Daurah. He is a fantastic guide...
