OYO 68363 Atithya Resort — Hotel in Assam

The ambience is quite nice and serene. The cottages are quite spacious and airy. The quality of food was not up to the mark (at least I didn't think it was) besides being a bit too expensive. The food we were provided was a bit too spicy, had too much of oil and could be termed average. I would prefer something better if I had to go all the way from the city hustles to the outskirts of Guwahati to have dinner with my family. Moreover, the person (staff) we were assigned was not courteous and was blunt in his response. Didn't like his conduct and attitude. Overall, I would rate our experience visiting Atithya Resort as something average. But I must say the place has a good parking area for visitors' cars. Moreover I liked the small to medium sized cottages where people can have food. These cottages are located between some lush green trees shrubs which I found to be quite soothing to the mood. If the resort could work towards improving the behavior and attitude of the staff and also towards better pricing of the food items, then I think it would make a great place to go to for outings and...

Me and My Husband first time we have visited to this place for lunch on 28th may.. Experience was not at all good .. The Steward (Nipu Talukder) he gave his number by telling us whenever we want we can call him and he will come to take our order.. After 10/15 mints we called him he said his coming after 15/20 mints later again we called nd he said coming sir.. after 10/15mints he came he took our order .... After sometimes he came with our order we had our Lunch dn asked him to get the machine.. After the Billing was done he asked "Dada kiba eta dibo" We didn't carry cash with us so he said G/pay korileu hbo . My husband gave him 100 through gpay.. Asking for tips anekuwa ke is sooo shameful and unprofessional.. If we get good service dn definitely tips diya jai but his service was not at all good.. I personally will never recommend this...

Bad Experience. We stopped by this restaurant on the way to guwahati from Tezpur on 29th January. It was my second time there.

The hotel doesn't have Thali meals. I asked the help of the manager to order and asked for a mixed order meals for 14 persons including children.

As suggested by the manager, we ordered and when the food came we realised it was food for almost 50 people.!! I had trusted him and asked him to order food that would resemble a thali for all of us.

It was a pathetic experience. His intention was just to cheat customers. Will never go there again.

For 10 adults and 4 children. The bill was almost 13000!!! and that too after pointing out to the hotel and they reduced some items.

So beware of this place. Their intentions weren't good....
