Patkai Resort — Hotel in Assam

Disgusting experience and not recommended at all. Earlier when I visited, the quality of food was good but on my last visit i.e., on 25/04/2021, more than half of the items on the menu were unavailable. Moreover the fish (Rohu fish curry) was unfresh, stale and of the lowest quality possible. It's fowl smell ruined our entire lunch scenerio and the gravy turned sour. The price of the mutton was pretty high but the size of the mutton (4 pieces) was too small, I would rather say 'tiny'. Delivery of food took a pretty good amount of time. I don't know whether it was because of the unavailability of the chef (as told by the staff) or they have just changed their quality but the food which I ate was not upto the mark and it was a total wastage of money. My review is directly for the staffs, not all staffs but few are just disgusting.. very rude behavior, full of ego, they are just not meant to serve a resort. Not at all qualified for customer service. They take soo much time to take an order when specially some events happen, interesting part is if you say one of the staffs "why taking so much time to take the order" they complain about the customer to receptionist , then they send someone else to take your order .Infront of us that particular lady staff took another customer's order who had come after us. That means that particular lady had shown us full of ego. There are many more resorts with well qualified staffs. Please don't visit patkai resort. First of all a big Thank you to the amazing staff. Well mannered, professional, well dressed and soft spoken. Stayed there, loved the experience. Rooms are spacious, neat and clean and comfortable but slightly costly. Ambience is wow. Greenery all around and you will find people keeping the resort clean everytime. No restrictions for couples. Only adults. ID mandatory. Pond facing rooms gives you an awesome feeling. I loved the view while having lunch. Food is tasty and affordable. They have variety of food available. Ice-cream available.
