Dewas is a bustling industrial township and attracts a reasonable number of outstation visitors

However the element of change and attention to detail/ quality of presentation and impact as well as the desire to excel still seems to be missing

Ramashray still attempts to make a bid to get to the top league and yet fails to impress

With Avirat Inn and a few others opting for quality support from OYO etc, it will be interesting to watch and note how stand alone places such as Ramashray hold on

Coming to the hotel, they have an amazinglyblarge party lawn - probably the best in town which gives them the extra rating point. Makes your day when you view it from your room or while you walk about. Marriages and get together a as going to be different

Rooms are decently spaced and neat. Bathrooms need upkeep. The hotel despite being about an year old, has a smelly bathroom and the shower handles did not work. I ended up using and enjoying a bucket bath after a long while, taking me back to my childhood days

Linen are ok. Spotted marks on my bedsheet - indicates a use and use again philosophy. Needs to be questioned......no tea coffee machine....

Food is VEG ONLY and passable but considering the location can qualify to be decent and good. Importantly they don't seem to put a fascinating push towards excellence. The table cloth in the restuarant were not washed. Reuse, repeat. Did not have a meal at the restaurant other than the breakfast. I strongly suggest to the management to put sun mica on the table of you cannot put fresh table cloth.

All the ingredients of a top class place are there for Ramashray, but lack of will or is it happiness that they are probably the better ones which keeps them from investing to make it the ONLY place to go to? Unclear

Stayed here for 1 night and that's the max recommended. Upon arrival at the hotel, the guy at the reception is least interested in attending. We had to request him to pay attention to us as he was busy with his mobile or computer at desk. We mentioned that we have a booking and mentioned our names. He then asked who what when where etc. questions. He already had our booking but didn't want to take efforts in finding. He quietly handed over key card and asked us to sign. No expressions on face, forget a smile which is expected at check in at least. Customers will feel unwelcome. Exactly similar behaviour at check out. He did a favour by checking us out. Overall the property is made well, but not at all maintained. Cleanliness leaves a huge scope for improvement. Staff are too serious for a hotel. Food is alright and breakfast is decent. My AC had a leakage and had to call them at least 4 to 5 times over 2 hour period to send someone to clean the room. Not a convincing...
