We had a horrible experience at Sayaji Rewa right from the moment we entered.||||We were travelling via bike and the moment we parked the guard came running and very rudely told us "saaman utar kar bike yahah se hatao".||We had a scuffle with him and he kept blabbering stuff while the hotel staff just stood there and didn't said anything to him. And after asking thrice someone came to take the luggage inside.||||Is that how you're supposed to treat to your guests? Isn't it the job of hotel staff to unload the luggage which we had to do. ||||Next, the room we were allotted was badly stinking of a dead rat and offcourse we asked them to change the room. Then they tried to shift us to another filthy room to which we denied.||||We were told that the hotel is sold out.||We asked them for a refund, took back our luggage to our bike and were almost about to leave when another staff member came and told us that they have a suite room and if we pay extra we can take it. ||Obviously we said no as it's the hotel's fault that they can't provide us a clean room and it's their responsibility so we were not going to pay anything extra.||||Then came their General Manager, he took us back to the dead rat room and tried to convince us that there's no smell. Then said it's the smell of pest control, then changed to "baarish ke seelan ki smell" and kept making excuses (they also emptied a can of room freshener to fool us but it didn't work)||We told them we were not going to sleep in a room with a dead rat and if they can't provide a room we were leaving. They wasted almost an hour going back and forth. ||||So basically we were given a choice to either sleep in a filthy deadrat room or pay extra for an upgrade.||Their arrogant GM told us, hum to room de rae hai, jaana hai to aapka choice hai. At this point we lost our cool, had a word with him and left.||Also we were told "room seeda book kia hota toh hum kuch kar dete but aapne toh online booking kia hai"||||The staff and GM is the worst we have came across in any hotel chain. It's quite shocking that Sayaji which is known for it's hospitality would appoint such unprofessional and arrogant staff who have no idea how to talk to their guests.||||We immediately complainted to MMT and got our refund a few days later but the harassment we had to endure was very disturbing.||||Writing this review so that other people must know how Sayaji Rewa treats it's customers.||Hoping that higher management would take some action against the staff of Sayaji Rewa and noone ||else has to go through...
Read moreMy mother and I went to Rewa. Based on online feedback, we checked into Enrise Sayaji.||||Our stay was a weeklong, in their suite. So, it became like a second home for us.||||Here’s my two bits about the place:||The place is well built but in desperate need for repairs. Across. Right from the potholed inside road to fixtures in the rooms.||||Booking was easy. Though you may need to negotiate harder (unlike me). They insist on an advance though they could not share their cancellation policy. Here, I would like to mention Abhishek Mishra and Akhand Pratap Singh for making the process smooth for me.||||The suite is oddly constructed. One room split into two, with the bedroom becoming a windowless, claustrophobic space. Most fixtures are from top brands. However, upkeep is an issue. We had to complain for multiple days about leaking water in the toilet, which was never repaired. We were forced to use towels to prevent a mishap. Dirty carpeting with footmarks and stains. Unless asked, they do not replenish toiletries or even towels! So, be aware that their Housekeep is untrained and unsupervised.||||Sayaji is well-known for their food and Rewa did not disappoint! Breakfast is well-designed. And, surprisingly, each item is well-cooked. Poha is yum. Dosa, chutneys and sewai were actually worth taking repeats! They may need to add options in fruits. Need to call out the entire Breakfast staff for their personal touch. In particular, Rakesh Haldar and Srihari Mishra for trying to meet all our requests! Great job, guys!||||In-room dining was as good. Well-cooked items, well-served and a friendly staff. Food is served piping hot! We, being demanding customers, insisted on Bagheli cuisine and they obliged!||||Great job, Debnath Dey, Mrityunjay Singh and Mr. Tiwari!||||Front office staff are very helpful and accommodating. I could not charge my AirPods and they really helped me out! Thank you, Varsha, Abhishek Pandey and team!||||Opportunity for the management: please get repairs done. Also, the staff needs training and supervision. Maybe the GM needs to spend more time with the guests and seek feedback! ||||Overall, my suggestion is you must...
Read moreAnyone looking for a place to stay in sayaji rewa will be taken aback and pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Frankly we never expected a hotel of this standard in sayaji rewa. It's just off the highway so perfect for travellers. The entire experience right from check in to check out was seamless. We went straight to the bar to cool off and get something to eat. The food was excellent and the indian chinese we had was surprisingly the best we have had in a long time. They obviously have a very good chef. The room was large and the beds comfortable with all the usual comforts. The toilet was spotless and well appointed. The hotel has ample parking and grounds were very well maintained with a lawn and a variety of plants. We met the gentlemen who was maintaining the garden and was again surprised to find that he knew the botanical names of all the plants! The hotel offers a dormitory for drivers for a small fee that included complimentary breakfast. The complementary breakfast for the guests was excellent and had almost everything. You name it and was there. All in all it was bang for the buck and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling through...
