A Regal Escape with Urban Overtones This resort impresses at first glance with its fortress-like architecture and regal design. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms elegant, and our 2-day, 2-night stay was made comfortable by a range of thoughtful amenities. We particularly enjoyed the well-maintained swimming pool, snooker table, and table tennis setup—with decent beginner bats and a quality ball provided. The spa, while not staffed with the most skilled professionals, still served its purpose adequately. Hospitality was another highlight—staff were polite, professional, and attentive. The food was generally good, matching the quality of service. However, vegetarian options felt a bit repetitive, with paneer dominating most dishes. A broader selection of green vegetables would have been appreciated. Breakfast, on the other hand, offered a pleasing variety. That said, if you’re looking for a nature retreat or a peaceful escape from urban life, this may not be the ideal choice. The resort is located right on the busy Bhopal-Indore highway, and the constant sound of traffic and honking can intrude on the tranquility one might expect. Moreover, the greenery within the resort leans heavily toward decorative and hybrid plants, giving more of a manicured terrace garden feel rather than an immersive natural experience. One hopes they’ve planned to grow native trees that, in time, might offer a forest-like atmosphere and a genuine break from city life. Another downside is the absence of basic in-room amenities like proper water jugs. Guests who opt out of packaged water are given RO water in reused disposable plastic bottles—an unhealthy and environmentally unfriendly practice, especially for a place that markets itself as a retreat. In summary: A great spot for a short, comfortable getaway with a touch of luxury—just don’t expect a deep dive into nature or silence.

Pathetic resort boring and dead ambience they are the fraudulent people fooling people by showing false picture of the resort and booking in advance online there are only 4 jacuzzi room and very less space to even step up they fool by providing vague picture and they take the money and after that they don't provide customer satisfaction overly hyped place nothing to do around as it is connected to highway you won't be enjoying or relaxing in any sense better to choose any near by resort close to nature this has nothing there pool smells like dead fish and there water stinks there door locks are broken toilet are draining and after taking huge amount they don't bother for customer reviews at all worst place and worst service . Furthermore a case and a complaint is filed against you and your true picture will be shown people should be aware of your fraudulent hotel they you wait and watch you threaten is and even stopped us while we were going for complain and we called the police . And by the way you already took 10080 and rejected to refund we have already will be producing all the documents in court case. They harassed us for 3 hours and didn't settle our amount didn't refund and you and your hotel manager will also now be the party to suit he told us that the resort belongs to Memeber of parliament and forced us to pay and not refunded. You write against your customer who already paid the amount and got in trapped so they're are not one but many so beware of your faults .👍

I booked club room with jacuzzi so reviews are on that basis and connot comment on other category rooms. Pros- 1)serene environment, 2) greenery is very good with Minimal construction part 3) The heated jacuzzi was awesome. 4) clean rooms and surrounding 5) The common swimming pool was clean Cons 1) no wi-fi facility 2) no hair dryer in bathroom 3) not a single wardrobe in room 4) not much aesthetic rooms, no feeling of luxury 5) on tv , only few basic channels working not HD ones 6) food average 7) fruit basket was included with my room but don't go by name they have given 2 cold drink cans, 2 apples and 2 dry fruits jars (very small) having cashews 10 pieces and almonds 12 pieces Other details- 1)In their indoor activities there is one table tennis, pool table, carrom, chess Ludo, snakes and ladders 2) In their outdoor activities there is nothing much, one common swimming pool, small kids play area and one small garden. 3) car paking available 4) 2 complimentary water bottles 5) toiletries include- shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, dental kit. Handwash attached beside the washbasin. 6) both room shower offers both hot and cold water 7) good sitting area beside common pool Overall good but considering the cons it's a bit overpriced resort. They should provide more facilities and more luxury in rooms if they are charging this much otherwise they should lower the price.

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Price Anymore

I have stayed at Nilaya Resort and Spa a couple of times in the past and always had a pleasant experience. However, after a long time, I decided to visit again, expecting the same standards of service and hospitality. Unfortunately, my experience this time was far below expectations, and I feel compelled to share my feedback to help others make an informed decision.

Spa – The Only Saving Grace

The only positive aspect of my stay was the spa. The professionals there provided excellent service, and my overall experience with the spa treatment was truly relaxing. This was the only aspect that lived up to my previous experiences.

Pool Area – Poor Maintenance

I had opted for a poolside room, expecting a well-maintained pool area. However, the pool was not clean at all. The water was murky, filled with dried leaves, and lacked proper upkeep. It was evident that maintenance was not being done regularly, which completely ruined the experience of having a poolside room.

Food – Highly Disappointing

One of the most crucial aspects of any stay is the quality of food, and sadly, this was the biggest letdown. Despite selecting meal plans in advance through their website, the food served was extremely subpar. It tasted well but lacked freshness, and unfortunately, it even upset my digestive system. For a resort of this caliber and the prices they charge, such poor food quality is simply unacceptable.

Rigid Timings & Lack of Flexibility

There are strict time constraints for various facilities, including food service, spa appointments, and pool usage. Instead of offering a relaxed and flexible experience, guests have to adhere to inconveniently rigid schedules, which takes away from the overall experience.

Final Verdict – Not Worth the Price

Despite all these issues, the pricing remains unchanged, which is what makes this experience even more frustrating. If the resort is charging premium rates, it must ensure that the quality of service, maintenance, and overall experience match the price. Unfortunately, that is not the...

I would rate the property an average place for a weekend getaway, if you see the price they are charging and the facilities being provided ,i would really like the management to really look into some problems which i feel all the guests are facing . The property is good if you want to stay inside rooms and relax but otherwise there is nothing much to do, if you are a family and you have kids ,its a very cramped property and really nothing much to do for the kids now coming to the Pros and cons of the property

PROS

1: VERY GREEN PROPERTY WITH LOT OF PLANTATION 2: ROOMS ARE SPACIOUS 3: STAFF ARE VERY COURTEOUS 4: FOOD AND BUFFET BREAKFAST IS GOOD 5: AMBIENCE AROUND THE ROOMS IS GOOD 6: SPA IS GOOD

CONS 1: PLEASE PROVIDE A PROPER SIGN BOARD AT THE GATE SO PEOPLE ARE ABLE TO SEE WHERE THE PROPERTY IS. 2: WE BOOKED CLUB ROOMS ,THE COST OF ONE ROOM IS 6K PLUS BUT THE AC IN THE ROOMS WERE NOT WORKING WELL AND WERE NOISY , BATHROOMS HAD A VERY BAD SMELL , ONE OF THE ROOMS THE WASHBASIN WAS CHOCKED ,BASIC THINGS LIKE A HAIR DRYER ,TOOTH BRUSH NOT BEING PROVIDED .EVEN THE PHONE WAS NOT WORKING WELL. 3: THE COMMON SWIMMING POOL IS VERY SMALL AND THE CHANGING ROOMS WERE NOT FUNCTIONAL ,OUR ROOMS WERE AT ONE END AND THE POOL AT THE OTHER END, HAD TO WALK IN OUR SWIMMING GEAR FROM OUR ROOM TO THE POOL AND IF THERE ARE MORE THAN 8 PEOPLE IN THE POOL IT SEEMS CRAMPED . 4: NO PROPER GAMES OR ENTERTAINMENT FOR KIDS 5:MAIN AREA WHERE THE RECEPTION AND SIT OUT IS THERE THERE IS NO AC SO IF YOU WANT TO SIT IT BECOMES VERY SULTRY AND UNCOMFORTABLE AND SWEATY. 6: NO WIFI INTERNET FACILITY IN THE ROOMS 7: VERY SMALL PROPERTY

IF YOU ARE A COUPLE OR A GROUP WHICH WANTS TO STAY INDOORS IN THE ROOM OR IF YOU ARE BOOKING ROOMS WITH PVT POOL THEN CAN ENJOY OTHERWISE REALLY NOTHING MUCH TO DO IN THE PROPERTY FOR THE PRICE THAT IS...
