Buddha Resort hotel & restaurant — Hotel in Bihar

My husband had whatsapp chat with someone from hotel and he had quoted Rs 2000 for a room, though didn't ask for any advance amount at that time. When we reached the property the guy from reception said room price starts Rs2200+GST(with breakfast) onwards.

Just stayed for a night on our way back from Uttarakhand towards Kolkata. We had selected Rs 2500+GST room(room 101), gave Rs 100 discount as we had opted for no breakfast.

Room was very big and spacious. They can easily fit another bed, specially for families with kids, instead they provide many sofas which are not comfortable to sleep on.

We had to face power cut too many times, which is a big drawback. Fan stopped working in the middle of the night, only the AC was working. Had to use the bathroom with torchlight in the morning.

We had ordered khichdi only which was good. Gave 2papads as complimentary.

P.S.- The person at reception was very sweet and even offered us coffee...

It was a sudden visit for us while travelling from Varanasi to Kolkata on 28th Dec 2023. We all were very hungry and looking for a restaurant and we halted there.

Things to mention is that a young man and he welcomed us in a very good manner. The food was too great and that man served us in a good way that we felt that we are having lunch in some known place. The resort location is good and it is neat and clean.

If we travel again by road via car we will definitely have food again. And I will also suggest others to check...

The campus was impressive, and the rooms were neat n clean, comfortable and spacious. AC, lights, fans, and geyser were all working properly - it truly felt like home.
