Dalaan Resort — Hotel in Bihar

Location of resort is good, has ample of spaces..but the rooms lacks basics infrastructure of 4/5 star hotel which includes no centralized AC,no bath tubs,no bathrobe,no extra water bottle except initial quantity 2 bottle which cost less than Rs 20/ bottle . We had bulk booking of 30 rooms ,In some rooms split AC was not working, DTH service was expired.. Staff lacked professionalism..They were standing in front of guest and recharging tata sky in each room upon complain.. I don't think so they are well qualified and having degree from well established hotel management institute. I have visited Lalit,Oberoi, Trident, Novotel, Grand Hyatt, Le meredian, Hilton, Lemon Tree, Hard Rock hotel Goa however with my experience I can say that the service is very poor in this resort and is not upto the mark of a three star hotel/ resort of Mumbai / Pune/ Goa. Again when it comes to service and professionalism we can't much expect it in Bihar. Can u expect staff saying that we provide filter water upon asking more water after finishing 2 ( 500 ml) mineral water in rooms after paying 6000+ taxes for each room...It was pathetic, horrible experience there.. and most importantly complementary breakfast it was pathetic limited menu , rubber type idli and extremely salted sambhar was unable to bear those in mouth... Pathetic food and pathetic service.. sirf naam k aagey Luxury , Peace likhne s kuch nhi hota hai.. I would urge the owners of this resort to go and experience the hospitality food and service of a good 4/5* hotel of Mumbai/ Pune/ Goa and then compare...

Dont book this resort for any kind of party. I repeat , dont book this resort for any type of party event like Birthday, engagement or Marriage n. They seems very polite, humble at start but after booking they will make your life miserable. You will cry on the event day. We booked it on 22nd April for our marriage. They provided inhouse decorator "Nikhil" i.e fraud took 3.5L for decoration only he will say yes yes, I will decorate everything as per shared pics and all and provide quote according to shared pic but they won't do anything like that. And if you say any word to his team on event day he will threaten you that he can't done all as you say. He is doing his best and all else he will go away with his team leaving your event. Mr. Sanjeev the fraud manager , even now I feel to abuse him much. He will charge you extra at last anyhow making anything nonsense . No power backup for event. Booked 15 rooms but No AC after 9pm they did purposely. Please dont book this resort. I am begging you all. Anyway I will show this resort what people can do if they do wrong to them. They are cheating people charging extra. I bet those people who booked this resort will never let any relatives to go this resort. I am warning you all rest the money is yours don't waste . Book in patna...

it was a pleasant experience. The resort is tucked away from the city, offering a serene and calm environment perfect for relaxation. The lush gardens, fountains, and pool area created a refreshing ambiance, and the kids loved the game zone.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-decorated, with comfortable amenities like portable heaters that came in handy during the cooler evenings. The Machaan restaurant served delicious food—highly recommend the Manchow soup and Dalaan special Mutton! The staff was polite and cooperative, especially the front desk team, who ensured a smooth check-in process.

However, there were a few areas for improvement. The breakfast options were limited and not served as a buffet, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, the resort’s distance from the city (about 12 km) makes it less convenient without a personal vehicle. Some minor maintenance issues, like occasional water supply hiccups, were also noticeable.

Despite these, the tranquil setting and quality service make Dalaan Resort a great choice for families and events like weddings or parties. We’d consider returning for another relaxing stay, especially for the poolside candlelight dinner experience! Just ensure you have your own transport and set realistic expectations...
