Beautiful Venue, but Management and Coordination Need Improvement

We organised all my wedding events at Hotel Royal Bihar, and while the venue is absolutely stunning with its royal ambiance and beautiful interiors, there were some significant issues with the management and coordination that impacted our experience.

Before booking, I came across reviews mentioning poor management, which made me hesitant. However, after speaking with Faizal Ji, who reassured us that everything would be taken care of, we decided to move forward. Unfortunately, Faizal Ji fell ill with dengue during our wedding week, but he remained available over the phone and did his best to ensure everything went smoothly. Despite his efforts, there were several instances where the management fell short.

The lack of coordination was evident in several areas. For example, during the wedding ceremony at the mandap, the AC was switched off, and there were concerns about timing that were not communicated properly. Additionally, at the reception, when guests checked out, the staff didn’t mention anything at the time. Later, we received bills for those rooms, which caused confusion and frustration. This lack of clear communication and poor coordination among the staff was disappointing.

On a positive note, the food was delicious, and the decoration done by Soulful Saga was absolutely beautiful, adding a lovely touch to our special day.

In the end, while the venue itself was gorgeous and the food and decorations were great, the management’s lack of attention to detail and coordination was a letdown. However, because of Faizal Ji’s dedication and support, I’m giving Hotel Royal Bihar a 4-star rating. Thank you, Faizal Ji, for being there for us and helping to make our day as smooth...

⭐ 1/5 – Worst Stay Experience Ever

I recently stayed at this hotel for three days, and it was truly the worst experience of my life.

From the moment we entered, things started off terribly — the entrance sliding door made a loud, unpleasant noise, and the lifts were full of scratches, giving a very poor impression. The corridor lights were not working, making it completely dark and creepy, like walking into a haunted area.

At the restaurant, the supervisor was extremely rude and arrogant, showing no interest in guest needs. There was no proper response to our requests, and overall service was unacceptable. Mosquitoes everywhere inside the restaurant, two mosquitoes in our table. We don’t know how many fell inside our food. We better call this as Mosquito restaurant.

The SPA and swimming pool close at 7 PM, which makes no sense at all — most guests would expect to use these facilities after returning from city activities. Such early closing hours are ridiculous for a so-called “royal” hotel.

The worst part came during checkout — the manager presented bills that we had never signed, and instead of investigating calmly, he made us wait unnecessarily to “check the CCTV.” Even though the wrong bill had someone else’s signature, he refused to understand the simple logic and spoke very arrogantly.

Despite spending over ₹50,000 for three days, the experience was totally disappointing. Plates from dinner were left outside rooms for hours, making the corridors look like a mess — more like Dharavi than a Royal Hotel.

This property is Royal only by name, but in reality, it doesn’t even deserve 2 stars. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone who values cleanliness, hospitality, or...

Recently had my brother's wedding and had a very bad experience. Following are the issues which were faced. The booking was done seeing a particular 3 bed room but got less than half 3 bedroom and more than half of the bed rooms were 2 bed with additional 1 bed. This was known to me a day before the ceremony. The management is not commited to customers demands had a lots of fight for this. The rooms were dusty , the Groom's room was not even bothered to be cleaned before giving had to get it cleaned by cleaners the next day.Not expected from a so called "5 star" hotel. The rooms had lots of mosquitoes i had asked the reception team to take care of this issue but i got this complaint from my guest which was quite insulting for a so called "5 star" hotel. My Guest had to wait for half hr in the lobby for lunch as the team needed a signature. The food was ready but still they had to wait. This was really insulting for me in front of my Guests. The hotel team had some feedback forms which was shockingly filled by them only that too infront of my Guest . How can you trust this hotel for a big event. This hotel doesn't provide accomodation to drivers which was known to me after the arrival of my Guests. I had lots of difficulty in managing a room for them. The decorator suggested by the Hotel was not up to standards as per the price. Overall the hotel amenites are good , food is good but services are poor very poor. The commitment which is made to you while booking bulk rooms is not followed specially while you book...

Royal Bihar Hotel in Patna is a great place to stay if you're looking for a comfortable and relaxing hotel. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, and the food is delicious. I was particularly impressed with the chefs, Mr. Ashuthosh and Mr. Amith. Their Non veg coriander lemon soup, chicken pepper, and fish fillet were all outstanding. I would highly recommend Royal Bihar Hotel to anyone looking for a good hotel in Patna. Here are some of the highlights of my stay: * Spacious and comfortable rooms * Delicious food * Friendly and attentive staff * Excellent facilities I would definitely stay here again.

Had an amazing stay. It has now become a second home for us. Since one fine day me and my Colleague came and stayed here for a night. An extremely healthy environment, with lovely cordial staffs and at sometimes you might feel like speaking to a friend as you speak with one of them. The Royal Bihar is the place where you will feel pampered because the will spoil you, indulge you with complimentary services. Alao if you ever be gere do not forget to interact with Piyush, Santosh, and the team of F&B Also the special mention for Ms Heena and Ms Somi very polite and cordial to make your stay.
