Hotel Van Vihar — Hotel in Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu

The hotel room faced the lake and what a view. I couldn't take my eyes off the beauty of lake and the little green hills with small local fishing boats to add to to picture perfect. I've travelled 48 countries and i found it even more serene than Scotland and Ireland. The rooms were near and comfortable. Not fancy . Basic. Clean bathroom. The staff was very very nice and ready to help and please. Excellent service. ||The only improvement needed is the entry and facade, which needs to be redone. ||Food was delicious. STAY ONLY IN THE SUPER DELUXE LAKE VIEW ROOMS!||This hotel is one of the best located in Dudhani (only 500m from Dudhani Jetty).The view from the Lake view rooms are awesome (see my photo). However, the hotel is not properly maintained. Room has a window AC, a TV and not so clean linens.||We took some chicken disches in the dinner and they were good.Breakfast was included in our package.We ordered Sandwich and Aloo paratha and both of them were good.The price of food was ok, drinks were cheap.They aslo have a bar.||Overall it's good to spend a night (strictly ok for a night stay) after your beautiful scenic...

Apart from location everything is average .||||If one can compromise a bit , then this hotel is good to stay for a day or two . Pooly lit rooms , bed linen were torn , not sure if those are cleaned after the use of one guest . ||||Old style small CRT TV. broken and damp wall. less staff. No covid protocol is followed. Limited food items . Food taste is OK. No Internet in hotel .||||Lot of insects in evening . ||||Toilet is old fashioned and un clean .
