Park Boulevard Hotel, New Delhi — Hotel in Delhi

I am providing an update on my recent experience, as my stay at Hotel Park Boulevard took an even more disappointing turn.

After my initial booking was inexplicably canceled, I received a call from the hotel manager, Mr. Satyajit Anand, on September 22nd, offering a vacant room. Despite my reservations, I accepted, hoping to avoid further inconveniences. However, what followed was my worst hotel experience to date.

Upon check-in, Mr. Anand offered a revised room rate of Rs. 4,500 per night, lower than my original booking price of Rs. 5,169 per night, seemingly as compensation for the prior inconvenience due to cancellation by the hotel. We discussed the possibility of including dinner in my package and Mr. Anand offered to include dinner in my package for an additional charge of Rs. 500 per night, to which i agreed. Mr. Anand prepared revised paperwork, increasing the room rate to Rs. 5,000 per night and assured us that it included both breakfast and dinner. Mr. Anand also took full advance payment of Rs 10000 for 2 nights from me.

Around 8 PM on September 22nd, when we went to the restaurant for dinner, a shocking and unpleasant surprise awaited us. The restaurant staff informed us that generally, only breakfast was included in the package. Mr. Anand was summoned, and to our disbelief, he denied our prior agreement, contradicting the deal made during check-in. His tone was not only rude but also insulting, as he claimed that no such conversation about dinner had ever occurred.

Despite having added Rs. 1,000 to our total bill for dinner and accepting the advance payment, Mr. Anand refused to acknowledge our prior agreement. To avoid further confrontation at that moment, we reluctantly paid for the dinner. Throughout our stay, we hesitated to request even basic amenities, such as water bottles, and chose to dine at nearby restaurants due to the unpleasant experience at the hotel's restaurant. We didn't go to them for even breakfast or any other meal.

This experience has left us deeply disappointed and disheartened. A 4-star hotel should uphold the highest standards of hospitality, transparency, and customer service. Regrettably, Hotel Park Boulevard fell far short of these expectations, both during the initial cancellation and the subsequent stay.

I would like to urge the hotel's owners to thoroughly investigate this matter and take appropriate action against Mr. Satyajit Anand and the staff involved. Guests should feel valued and respected during their stay, and this experience was far from it.

To future readers considering a stay at Hotel Park Boulevard, I advise caution and recommend exploring alternative accommodations that prioritize customer satisfaction and uphold the principles of a 4-star establishment. Just imagine yourself in a situation where deal prior to your stay is not honored or even worse if you have struck a deal for a wedding or function but on the day of the function the agreements are not honored. End of February we had a family member wedding at Park Boulevard in Chhatarpur, we booked the place for 3 days. The review is for the same:

Venue: We used two of their venues for our events one was belvedere lawn with glasshouse the other was Paradiso rooftop. The lawn was very tastefully done, and the glasshouse was clean and added to the grandeur of the space. We used this venue for 2 functions everyone loved it. The rooftop venue which was used for Mehndi was nice as well. The toilets were clean, and the house staff made sure everything was clean and well managed.

Ambiance/Décor: Décor for the events is in-house only, which we were thinking might be an issue. But to our surprise the décor done was not only good but perfect. The quality of the material used and was superb. We used the belvedere venue for 2 events, but the décor was done in a way that many people who came for both the events thought that it was different location all together. No complains about décor you can go ahead with the inhouse team without a thought they are really good and professional with their work.

Service: The service was exceptional, during all the events. The GM Mr. Bhaskar was superb he made sure everything was organized and made sure to appoint a captain for each event and introduce us to him. Here the senior staff was really good as well they made sure all services form Snacks to Bar was functioning properly. The staff which really stood out for me cause of the efforts and professionalism they showed to make our event beautiful were Shiv & Shankar, there were others as well, but the names might have slipped my mind. They even had arranged a Steam Iron service which was a great thing for guests staying at the location.

Food: The hotel gave us a suggested menu which we tweaked a bit as per our liking. The food was on point I am a big-time foodie and the food they served was one of the best I have had in Delhi NCR. No complains here. The snacks were hot and kept moving though out the venue, the live stations were good. The main course and desert were superb as well, we got lot of complements for the same from our guests.

Rooms: The family was staying at the venue, they have around 28 rooms if I am not wrong. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. They do have connecting rooms as well. For us the rooms were very close to the venue, which was a big plus point as it gets very easy if you have young kids who need to sleep.

Overall the place is great for events, with great service and food. It was value for money for our three-day event. The owner of the place who we met during booking also took out time and made the rounds during the events to check...

Hi I have conducted 3 functions for my daughter's wedding last week and loved the exotic green ambience of the venue. All the 3 different venues of park boulevard were beautifully exotically decorated according to our taste . Rubal and Nipun took pains to give the venues a royal look and all the guests from both my side and Groom side were very impressed with the docore. The food were excellent and Yogesh bhai took personal pain and ensure the best of the variety and taste and all our guests liked the menu and quality of food.Rooms were very spacious and neat with all the facilities I am thankful to Yogesh ji for providing a presswala for the guests for their immediate press needs. Every thing was well organised and none of my guests felt any shortcoming which was great when we are conducting 3 big functions.The staff was very cooperative and helpful. I also want to thank Mr Govind Mishra for his leadership in providing the best of food services. In our 3 days stay in the Hotel we did not feel any discomfort which is a great achievement of the staff of the hotel. Only thing with which I was dissatisfied was with the services of DJ services which was provided by My Symbol singh, Although he was not part of the venue management. I hired him looking to his past associations with Park Boulevard and was expecting good services in league with the quality provided by Park Boulevard in all sections such as decors since he has been conducting the function in the venues. But the services provided by him was below par as was not comparable to the hype he has presented during the discussions and the amount he has charged for the services. In this there was no role of Management of Park Boulevard. But I would not like to recommend Symbol Singh for any of his services as there is no match for the quality of services he provided and the amount he has charged.
