Kohinoor Hotel — Hotel in Diu

First of all good sides of this resort that it has a good ambience and gives good vibes, friendly staff, clean rooms, swimming pool hours from morning 8am to 8pm, individual kids 2ft pool zone, and 4ft to 6ft adults swimming area, a little bit high but still affordable rates for stay. Car wash also available you can ask watchman for further details, things which we found on bad side are that no room has working fridge, 90% of them all are not in working condition. Please bring your own soap with you coz the one they provide is useless, no door mat as when you walk in after enjoying pool you will wet all the lobby floor and your room too, pool also needs maintenance as the small pieces of tiles are just roaming in some portion of swimming pool we all got hurt while enjoying in pool, intercoms are in a very bad condition you might not see the number or the place to call and if you see you might not be able to dial that specific number as that button won't work. Parking space is a bit less compared to the number of rooms you may find trouble parking your car specially in holidays or in weekends, lots of plants and trees and a garden will make you enjoy walking around as well, bar facility available but they won't allow you enjoy drinks in the pool, also there is too much of chlorine in water so that means they don't change water frequently. Almost 24 hours hot water you will get, but only 2 small bottles of water they will provide you for drinking with a condition of getting it before your room gets serviced or cleaned, that was a bit weird, gym also available, but i haven't been there so no comments on that, also there is something like a small water park behind the resort but it was not functional so again no comments on that. You will also get a small dressing area, and cupboards are having door sized mirrors so will always be able to makeup yourself look good before leaving your room. Such bad experience with so called 3 star hotel. The staff starting from reception to room service were so rude. When we reached hotel, Mr. Ajay at reception was asking for id of all the 10 members. When we said we are giving the id but please provide us the key to other members as some of us were wet by coming from sea water, he said how can I give you 4 rooms if you cannot provide me the IDs of all the members and he was adamant on taking IDs of all the members include my 7 year old daughter. He didn't give me the key until he got all the IDs. There was not even arrangement for tea in the room. Really!! A 3 star hotel and not a cup of tea. Water bottles were also missing from one of the 4 rooms and when asked to the room service he said - "rakha to tha" (we had kept it there). Are you doubting us that we stole the water bottle after paying such a huge amount for 4 rooms. There was no hand towel or shower cap in the bathroom. Even bathroom glass was broken. The walls where Hotel room AC was hung was broken and likes like it may fall down. When complained to change the rooms, they said we don't have any other room better than this. Other room condition is much worse than this. My question is why are you charging us so much if you are not up...

WORST STAY EVER IN DIU. Staff - Rude, Clueless, delayed services. Receptionist - Arrogant. Hotel staff provides welcome drinks to selected guests. We were not provided welcome drinks, while other guests were provided right in front of us. Rooms - Unclean, cobwebs in all the corners, in and on the light fixtures. Leaking water from AC. Bedsheets were dirty. TV was not working properly. The cupboard was useless without any shelves. Bathrooms - Unclean, shower gel and shampoo bottles were empty, basic equipments like bucket & tumbler were not there. Toilet paper roll was empty. No one bothered to refill or provide these things even after multiple complaints. Swimming pool - Dirty and dark green water. Bar - Very limited options for liqueur. Overpriced.
