We had a wonderful experience at Denwa. The resort property is very well maintained and itself has interesting walking paths full of diverse trees, shrubs housing quite a variety of butterflies, birds, and other insects such as dragonflies, ants, spiders etc. We enjoyed exploring the paths in the resort property and the backwater view it offered. The cottage we stayed in was also very nicely designed. The resort has a very good library with field guides for flora and fauna, as well as some novels and children's books.

We came for the jungle experience and we saw the beautiful forms of it in all our safaris. Tiger and leopard sightings were the cherry on the top 🙂. The jungle is rich in flora and fauna. Every jungle has its own charm and so does Satpura forest. Himani the naturalist who joined us on all safaris was very well versed with her job and we liked her enthusiasm and passion. The naturalist, our drivers, and our guides made a good team and gave us a unique experience every time we went out.

The housekeeping staff and the chef did a commendable job to make our stay in the resort memorable. The food was really tasty without being overly spicy or oily. Every meal had unique deserts paired with freshly made ice creams. We really appreciate the sustainable practices followed in the lodge. The use of steel containers and plates for breakfast, use of reusable water containers definitely helps in reducing the waste generated by the tourists.

This is a fantastic place to stay in case you are visiting Madhai tiger reserve.

The rooms are large and nicely done. Its a perfect place to retire after the safaris.

The resort offers its own safaris in the buffer area of the forest. It has naturalists, guides and drivers either directly employed or on a strong association basis. This team is amazing and given that we went to a tiger reserve, this team made all the difference.

The hotel offers packages that are all meals included. The food is amazing and we got served a set thali and a set menu during our stay. The menu was large and there will be something for everyone. They also send packed breakfast/ snacks while you are on a safari!

Rooms are very tastefully done. The rooms are large and so are the bathrooms. You will never feel cramped in this space.

Each room has a large unbroken view of the seasonal backwaters. We went in the dry season but saw pictures of the backwaters when it is full.

Each room also has a large outdoor sitting and a sitting on the roof. The rooms have no television which is a big plus.

The place only gets BSNL and reliance jio connectivity. The resort helpfully gives you a reliance jio dongle in the room. The connectivity is ok. It sometimes is good enough to do a WhatsApp call, and sometimes good to be able to receive just messages. But you are connected.
