AVOID - UNSAFE and dirty

I booked here for 2 nights and really wish I hadn't. The most important thing to note, is that there is no safe in the room and that room keys fit in ALL ROOM locks. Unfortunately I found this out when a man entered my room (I'm female) as he thought it was his room. When I discussed this with management, they weren't interested, so I decided to try my key in other door locks (I knocked first to check to see if other guests were present) and to my shock, the key worked in all 10 rooms I tried. As it was so easy for someone to enter my room, I felt unsafe being there at night and asked for a refund which I was refused. Therefore I had to leave and stay (at an extra cost) in other accommodation. The room had dirty towels when I checked in and no toilet paper. The curtains don't cover the entire windows so if you are getting changed with the lights on, people and staff can see in your room.

If you are crazy enough to stay here, it's 30 min walk to the beach or a 10 minute taxi ride. The pool didn't appear to be very clean, it had a sheen across the top and dead insects...

I recently stayed at Habitus, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. The property is absolutely gorgeous—lush, green, and so close to nature, making for a very peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. Akshay, the host, was incredibly welcoming and friendly. He gave us great recommendations for local spots and truly made us feel at home.

The rooms were spacious, tidy, and beautifully decorated, adding to the overall comfort of our stay. The pool was another highlight—perfect for a relaxing dip.

The only downside to our visit was the check-in process. We arrived after 3 PM, and when we went to check in, the lady at reception told us to wait as she was eating lunch. Given that we were hungry and had just arrived, I found it frustrating to wait. I eventually called her to ask for assistance, but she seemed visibly irritated by the request, which left a bit of a sour impression on what was otherwise a lovely stay.

Despite that, the overall experience was fantastic, and I would definitely recommend Habitus for its beautiful setting, wonderful hospitality from Akshay, and...

Peaceful Goan Escape with Amazing Service!

Had a wonderful stay at Habitus Resort in Mandrem! The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully designed—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The landscaping across the property is stunning and adds a real sense of calm and nature.

What truly made the stay special was the excellent service. The staff were incredibly helpful, warm, and always ready to assist with a smile—whether it was local tips, food requests, or just making sure we were comfortable.
