Worst hotel i've ever stayed in. i stayed there 5 days, no service !!! Check in time 3pm !!!!!!! Check Out time 10:30AM, i went there early asked for early check in but they didn't allowed us, and made us and other guest till 3pm, also when it came to check out time they called us more then 5times from 10am for check out. They also charged fully for our kid, we did not want extra bad for our kid but they forced us to have one, they bed they gave us was folding one, it has really sharp connection at side and at end which injured us me and my wife many time. They arranged Activa for rent @600/day, well i had one from 1min walk from hotel @400/day. Location was out of main area so you won't get taxi or basic service required to go to 1.3k far taxi cost us rs.350. Pathetic Service, they don't have enough house keeping staff thats the reason they gave me. Breakfast was also very bad, same every day, no staff available to serve or help at breakfast No Cleanliness in rooms. in 5 days i stayed they cleaned my room 2 times only. Hot water constantly running out. No Privacy in bathroom (window from balcony anyone cansee you) leaving the bathroom misty after taking a shower and leaving it smelly after using the loo. Beds were extremely uncomfortable, may as well of slept on their sun loungers. Pillows were solid hurting your neck when you slept. I was fully aware we'd encounter lots of mosquitoes in this area, came fully armed with bug spray. However, is it normal to be slapping them away in the hotel, they should have something to deal with this. Room was dust central, dust had settled everywhere and even after us wiping it off with some baby wipes it would re settle. Under the bed was filthy with dirt and dust looked like it had been forgotten about by the cleaner. Bed sheets were filled with dust when we asked David (the receptionist/manager) if we could have them changed he replied "well the cleaner has finished who's going to do it?" Fridge was dirty and horrible and the bottom of it was rusty. Staff funny when you leave hotel to eat or drink out. A little two faced.
I could go on but i am not going to waste any more time. I have honestly never been anywhere and met such rude two faced staff. If you are not majorly bothered by the cleanliness of your room and want a to pay more this place to lay down, like to stay in the hotel all day + night and sunbathe by the pool and drink at the hotel bar all this is the place for you. However if you are more the adventurous type, care about cleanliness, like to eat out and explore the beaches without feeling you're being monitored DO NOT STAY. Pressa Di Goa was once a favorite place of mine, known for its charm and warm hospitality. Unfortunately, my recent stay was a letdown, particularly due to the service and upkeep of the property.
The location remains a strong point—close to major tourist attractions and amenities, provided you have your own transport. There’s ample parking space, and the property still carries that old, rustic Goan charm, especially in the design of the rooms. However, the bathrooms are in dire need of attention: broken fixtures and a worn-out bathtub that clearly needs replacing detract significantly from the experience.
What was most disappointing this time was the staff’s attitude. From the moment we arrived, the interaction felt cold and unwelcoming. We requested an early check-in, as we had reached the vicinity by 11 AM, but were curtly told we could only check in at 3 PM. While we understand policies need to be followed, the tone and manner in which this was communicated left a lot to be desired—especially as returning guests who’ve had pleasant experiences here before.
Another major downside was the rigid and somewhat unfriendly set of rules that made it feel like guests were expected to stay confined to their rooms, with the pool being the only amenity we were seemingly encouraged to use. Breakfast, though paid for, came with a fixed menu and no flexibility. When we asked for the room to be cleaned, the housekeeping merely rearranged things without replacing the linen or doing a proper refresh.
Even small comforts, like a cup of coffee, came with added charges—and on one occasion, I was explicitly reminded I’d be billed for a coffee that had been offered routinely before. These little things added up and contributed to a general sense of being nickel-and-dimed.
The most disappointing aspect was the overall attitude of the staff. They seemed disinterested in guest satisfaction, which is disheartening for a hospitality business. The property itself has so much potential, but the lack of care and courtesy has unfortunately turned what could be a delightful stay into an experience I’m not eager to repeat.
With better management and a genuine focus on customer service, Pressa Di Goa could return to its former glory. Until then, it’s hard...

Agree that you offered alternative accommodation, but we have to accept it forcefully as you refused to the refund and booking was non cancellable, you also refused to provide accommodation in property of similar facilities. But as the alternative offered was not same (it lacked some basic facility ), you also refused to reimburse any differential.
Also just to be clear, there was no free transport by the way, only free transport provided was to shifting to and fro b/w the properties (which resulted in packing/unpacking multiple times). Rest was managed by us.
But to my nightmare, when I called the resort for early checkin request I got to know that my booking has been cancelled as they did OVER BOOKING and found some group booking.
Once I reached hotel, I gave them option of they were not ready to put me in equivalent property, rather they gave option of very shady properties which they manage which I rightly refused.
They were not ready to REFUND the booking amount as well , giving the reasoning of change in management and that amount is not received by them.
As I was travelling with family, it totally ruined my vacation, as during last minute, I could not find good property to stay or prices were exorbitantly high.
Eventually I took the option of nearby shaddy properties managed by them. but they refused to partial refund the amount as property I was placed in was no where equivalent property.
