I recently stayed at this hotel, and while the rooms were undeniably luxurious and comfortable, my experience was severely marred by the atrocious quality of the restaurant.

Let me start with the positives: The rooms were immaculate, spacious, and beautifully designed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. It felt like staying in a 5-star suite, which was a real treat.

However, everything fell apart when it came to dining. The restaurant was, without a doubt, one of the worst I’ve ever encountered. The service was slow, and the staff seemed indifferent to guests' needs. The food was another disaster entirely – bland, poorly prepared, and nowhere near what you'd expect from a hotel of this supposed caliber. To make matters worse, the prices were exorbitant for such substandard fare.

It’s a shame that such a lovely hotel experience was ruined by a restaurant that simply doesn’t live up to the rest of the property. I would recommend staying here only if you plan to eat elsewhere. It’s clear that the management needs to seriously rethink their dining options to match the luxury...

Morning flight, reached the hotel at 6.30 am after calling the previous night to confirm, but we were kept waiting till noon because of the silly check in rule though there were a couple of check outs when we were there. We were left sitting in a lobby that has 2 sofas ONLY for 6 hours with not even a glass of water offered to us though they could see we had a small daughter and my wife was unwell also. What happened to hospitality and empathy ? Regenta is generally a fantastic place to stay and total value for money but this was a horrible experience. We slept till evening just to recover from this ordeal. Our first day in Goa was the worst and never will stay in the South again.
