Saligao Farm Cottages — Hotel in Goa

The place is perfect to stay alone and with a partner... The place is owned by 2 brothers Mr. Milo and Mr. Austin - very friendly ones at that. I was there on a Monday and had no place and Mr. Austin took us to this Jazz night and I we had a ball 😄 Next morning Mr. Milo had quite yum breakfast ready for us - perfect hangover food and homemade 🤩 They grow quite a few veggies out there... The plantations are right in the middle of the property. Mr. Milo arranged for a bike as well, so we didn't have to go looking for one. It's a little away from the city, say 2-3 kms, but that was worth it because of the greens in Goa! All in all.. had a lovely time and will consider this place the next time I'm visiting Goa. Visited with my colleagues. Was worried at first but loved it when we arrived. They have in total 4 wooden cottages nestled in interiors of Saligao (Vehicle is must), in the paddy fields, mornings were full with birds chirping, peacocks and view full of greenery all day long.|Things I loved the most about this place,|1. Open Kitchen. Cook anything you want, with available ingredients.|2. Non AC Rooms- Still Cool. |3. We visited goa in august. Booked 3 cottages. Cottage is small and neatly maintained. Mosquito net, heater is available. Kitchen is provided and you can cook maggie, tea and other small recipes. Host mr. mele is freindly and can help us to get bike/car rental. Best time to visit this place is august, you will enjoy greenery and farm fields. Only problem is distance from main road where you can get groceries. If you rent a bike, its not big problm. Calangate and baga is 5-6kms from this place.
