I booked the entire property (Bharmour Villa) for a month in Feb-March. It has 7-8 rooms. One 3 rooms set. Following are the Pros & Cons.

Pros: Property location is awesome, providing a peaceful environment with stunning views. There are just 2-3 houses nearby and the road ends here so there is no noise pollution at all. Property has a big garden and an old non-operational helipad space that provides a good place for big parties or family gatherings. Also, parking is not an issue even if you have 4-5 vehicles. Power backup is available for 3 rooms but only for lights and power plugs to charge mobile or laptop.

Cons: Property is very old and not well-maintained. The woodwork is almost finished and full of moss & spiders. Looks like the property was closed for several years. Had to shift to another room because of rats. Furniture is also very old and in bad condition. You can see huge gaps between walls & doors/windows. Even window glass was missing in one of the bathrooms. So while taking a bath, you can enjoy hot water flowing on your body for 1 sec and a chilled breeze from back the next second :). Blankets & bedsheets were not dry cleaned although there were plenty of them. As I visited in winter, availability of electricity & water was a big issue. Faced long power cuts during the day as well as night time. Pipes were not covered so water froze multiple times due to very low temperature and a few water supply pipes were clogged due to garbage. So if you can't live without bathing daily then just avoid this place. Room service was below average as there was just one boy (Sushil) doing all work i.e. cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, boiling water & delivering buckets to the room (due to the above point). Although, he did his best and was friendly & helpful. Also, as I was the only guest so not much service was required. Akshay (owner of the property) was polite & understanding but was not of much help as he was in Dharamshala.

I would not booked the property if I had received photos of interiors of the rooms before booking. Overall, I would not recommend this property unless you are just looking for a night stay during...

Pros: Excellent view, you will get a 360 view of mountains. We were surrounded by snow peaked mountains as well. Very good service by Susil, the caretaker. Food is homely and quite cheap. Fully aloof, you won't have other properties near your side. The market is available at a distance of 300-400 meters. Various trek options are available from this place.

Cons: We found some spiders , centipede, caterpillars and even rats in our rooms. Roads leading to this place are quite difficult and hectic, so beware of that.

We took a cab from Bir, which included two stops for roaming around, and two stops for food, and it took us around 12 hours in total. So plan your travel accordingly.

We didn't get any snowfall in the...

Bharmour villa is an amazing place! The locations is great (closeby the main road, but still a bit away to be very peaceful and calm) and the views are stunning.

The rooms are perfect, clean and comfortable. Breakfast/lunch/dinner can be made on request and tastes great!

The host (akshay) did everything to make our stay memorable and has a lot of information (and love) for the region. You are definitely in good hands at this place for any of your needs.

Nothing we asked was ever to much and they where there to assist and support us every day again!

Definitely would recommend this place to anyone. It's an amazing place with a...
