The route was very lonesome . I was not even sure where my cab was headed to but once I saw the homestay surrounded by the most stupendous view, assurance of comfort was guaranteed. I was offered a heartwarming chai. The chai , the coffee and the poha were amazingly yummy. Consuming the homely fresh made food there was like "paet bharega, man nhi" .The crispiness of the rotis was unbelievable.
They even arranged a cheap cab for me. At one point in my stay I was feeling under the weather when the hosts provided me with the comfort and support that my mother would have me provided at home. It was because of their support they provided that I was able to continue my journey.
All basic facilities like charging pot , geysers , slippers and most especially solace were all readily available. Tbh I didn't expect these facilities
I love this place and will never forget it. All the best wishes for the sweet hosts from my side. You should definitely visit this homestay and no this is not a paid review. This is genuine. Even though this review is quite short for describing the love and care I was given
Though there is still a scope of room improvement
Thank you uncle and aunty for making my 3 day...

Google Maps will take you there easily. A couple is managing it and I didnât notice any worker here. The location is awesome. We were greeted on our arrival by the lady and given a room on the ground floor (which was not a good choice as thumping from the first floor can disturb you sometimes) with a separate bathroom. The room was clean and there was a cot and a thick 12 inches large mattress on the floor. The view from the window was breathtaking. Food is served in the room as well as in the dining area and you will have to eat in a sitting position. The food preparation is good. They try to make whatever you want. Very hardworking people. Geysers for hot water were available. You have to remove your shoes outside. The one thing I noticed was that this place was never without a...
Read moreI had the most peaceful and heartwarming experience during my stay at Himalayan Retreat. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with such genuine warmth that I instantly felt at home. The place is not just beautiful in its scenic surroundings, but also in the way it is maintained and hosted.
A very beautiful and kind lady, along with her equally hospitable husband, took care of every little detail. They didnât just host usâthey truly looked after us with care and affection, like family. Whether it was the cleanliness, the delicious home-cooked meals, or the helpful guidanceâthey made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay.
If youâre looking for a peaceful, soul-soothing getaway in the lap of the Himalayas with hosts who treat you like one of their own, I highly recommend Himalayan Retreat. Canât wait to...
