Hotel Rishi Palace – A Beautiful Getaway with Room for Improvement

Pros: The property is stunning and exudes a sense of luxury. The surroundings are peaceful and serene—perfect for a relaxing escape. The staff, especially the service boys, are exceptionally polite and courteous. It’s an ideal place for those looking to unwind in a calm and tranquil environment. The food is of good quality, the service is efficient, and everything is reasonably priced.

Cons: The management team seems to have a rather laid-back attitude, which could impact overall guest satisfaction. Internet connectivity is a serious issue—mobile networks are nearly unavailable, and the in-house WiFi is both ineffective and insecure. Connecting to it may trigger security alerts. Although this was reported to the reception, the concern wasn’t taken seriously. The property is located quite far from the main city and Mall Road—about 12 km away. It’s manageable if you have your own vehicle, but can be inconvenient otherwise.

Hotel is decent property towards the outer Manali. It is far away from the city which gives an upper edge if you want to relax and chill in the silence and enjoy the serene weather.

The rooms are proper and decently maintained. They were clean and gave us the ease to enjoy our vacations. Hotel staff was cooperative to the extent that they provided us room speakers to enjoy the night. There was DJ outside though, the rain and snow turned it into an indoor show for everyone.

The services are very poor. The staff seems to be very casual with their attitude and services. Serious hospitality lag and despite of requests the wait time for food is around 40minutes which is annoying.

The staff is very unconcerned with any complaints raised because they are busy chatting and fighting amongst each other in front of guests. Needless to say, they do not cater to the needs of guests but only focus on pleasing their reporting managers.

The views from the hotel were decent. There is a waterfall nearby to visit. Parking space is good. Check in support was provided.

The room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. The bed was especially cozy, and I appreciated the little touches like the plush bathrobes and high-quality toiletries.
