We reached Malana at around 1 pm. Due to landslide we have had to stop 5 km before Malana. We interacted with a local there and he advised us to go to Waichin instead. From the dam, the trek is around 4 kms and for the first 3kms the road is OK but for the last km, you need to climb the mountain. The trek is a bit dangerous, so it necessary to be careful where you step. But all this is worthwhile because as soon as you reach there, you'll see one of the most amazing places. The meadow is filled with cannabis farms and a handful of houses. You can either camp there or homestay as you want. There's no electricity so you'll have to find other ways to pass your time. Some advices: Carry light bag to avoid discomfort and risks later. Do not stop even if you want to. There are shortcuts to the place, bit are far more dangerous and confusing. We used a shortcut because we had a local guiding us. Food is scarce and therefore expensive. Although most of the camps and stays include dinner, breakfast and lunch with the rent, anything more you order might be heavy on your pocket. Do not waste food.
