The Boho House Manali — Hotel in Great Himalayan Range

A Fabulous experience in mountains!

We stayed at The Boho House as a group of 4 in March. Here's a detailed review :

Location : The location of Boho suited our requirements to the T. We prefer staying away from the hustle bustle of touristy spots. Boho's location is Soil was perfect - the house is right on the main road to Manali (some 15 kms) and there are short treks to some amazing mountain views and streams. It is also very well connected to good eateries. Super safe for lone travellers and provides a lit sky with stars at night. There are small shops just a few steps down the house that can provides you with immediate utilities.

The house : Boho is aesthetically so pretty. The hosts have created some truly boho vibes with their decor setups and it makes you feel at home right away. It is perfect for a small group of friends and family. There are some cozy corners that are apt for sitout - enjoying a cup of tea in the sun. The room at the back has such a great collection of photos (clicked by the ace photographer cum host of Boho) and small souvenirs from around the world. The lighting and the fireplace that can be used during the very cold winters makes it a perfect spot to work and chill. The kitchen is so clean and well stocked. Their caretaker Sanju bhaiya can take care of all your basic simple homely food needs and serves you a great cup of chai. All the 3 bedrooms are done up very well and the 3 bathrooms (though not attached to rooms) are clean and they even have a washing machine (score!). The caretaker made sure milk was ready for my son's early morning online school sessions. The view from outside the house is beautiful - we have climbed on top of the outhouse to simply soak in the views. They also kept some board games which kept my son as well as the adults busy when at home. They provide you with towels and the rooms were regularly cleaned and the beds made. Wifi is also available so you can work and take meetings very easily, There was a TV too but we didn't use it.

The hosts : The hosts were always accessible for any small queries we had. They provided some good trek recommendations and spots around Manali/Naggar that we could explore. Their booklet in one of the rooms also provides a menu that Sanju bhaiya can cook for home food needs. It also has restaurant recommendations.

All in all, a super trip which checked all the right boxes for our staycation break. A lovely home which we are sure we will be visiting again sometime very soon :-) Thank you for the experience Inderjit...

We were the luckiest first guests to experience this mountain beauty and that will always make this entire experience special.

Get ready to melt down in the warmth of this dreamy mountain home right from the moment you step in. The place has a very relaxing, positive vibe in every corner. The choice of candles, palo santo make it even more special.

Located far away from the rush of Manali town, one would hardly hear any noise even when sitting outside. Inside totally feels sealed and warm. The property has so much to absorb that we never felt like going out during our stay.

Of all the cozy corners, the library area will be my absolute favourite followed by the outdoor glass house as they call it.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the charming ”The Boho house” in Manali, and it was an unforgettable experience. The location is perfect for anyone looking for seclusion and peace, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible caretaker, Sanjay. He was extremely helpful and kind throughout our visit, always ensuring we were comfortable and had everything we needed. His culinary skills were outstanding – every meal he prepared was delicious and added a wonderful touch to our stay.

Host Inderjeet was equally impressive, always responsive and helpful. He made the booking process seamless and was quick to address any questions or concerns we had.
