Gir Orchid Resort — Hotel in Gujarat

We went to Gujarat during the year end in December with bookings sold out everywhere and high rates I found them via Google and it was a great choice. Though the place is far off from the main road but it is quiet and close to nature. A river flows behind the property. The decor is rustic with outdoor seating and swings. They also have a pool, wasn't functioning when we visited. The rooms are tents, but are not of the top quality. The highlight to our stay was that we heard the 🦁 roar at night while we sat around campfire. The food was good and homely. We asked them for authentic Gujarati food and they considered our request. The owner arranged for a taxi to pick and drop to and fro Junagadh railway station, that is almost 2hrs away and cost us 2000 one way. This is an awesome place. I spent 2 days here and enjoyed a peaceful and green environment at its best. Some of the views are really mind blowing. People can be close to nature and enjoy the fresh atmosphere. Best place to enjoy and relax with your family or loved ones.

Delicious food with great quality as the vegetables used are grown by themselves.

Nights were so amazing with charpai and bonfire.
