Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Dwarka — Hotel in Gujarat

Location: The hotel is located at a distance of just 1km from the highway that enters Dwarka, across a railway crossing. And, from the railway station and the Dwarkadhish temple to the hotel, the distance is about 15 minutes.

Property: The hotel is spread across a large area, with ample space all around. The reception area, the business center and the restaurant on the ground floor and the banquet and meeting halls on the first floor are in the main building.

There's a large swimming pool (24x7, big surprise) in the central area, and the rooms and villas are spread around the pool.

The hotel also has a huge lawn, a gazebo / sit out, a kids play area, a volleyball court and an outdoor badminton court. The fitness area / gym and the indoor activity area with table tennis and pool tables and chess and Carrom, are located next to the main building.

You can also cycle around the property on the cycles that they provide.

Restaurant: The restaurant serves only vegetarian food, keeping in view it's situated in Dwarka.

The buffet breakfast and dinner had a diverse spread across the 3 days we stayed here.

The chat counter, with Pani puri and chats, for dinner served some great chats.

In-room dining was a little on the slower side, but acceptable, considering the size of the resort.

Rooms: We stayed in the 2 bedroom villas, that come with a living room, a Kitchenette with basic infrastructure like a microwave oven and a kettle. The hotel also provides some basic utensils if you need them to cook / heat something. There's also a small outdoor area just outside each villa, where you can sit in the morning / evening.

The bathrooms were also decent, with premium Fittings, running hot water and Biotique products.

The towels and linen provided, along with the comfortable beds are what you'd expect from the brand.

The tap water is safe to drink - loved this option to the plastic water bottles that have become the norm.

Staff: The checkin and checkout process was pretty smooth. The welcome drink could have been better.

Special mention for Adil and Santosh at the restaurant. Ms. Deepa and Ms. Archana at the reception. And full marks to Manjit at the indoor activity area for giving company to my son at the Table Tennis table.

Ms. Sevanti at the reception assisted me when we realised that one of my son's had forgotten his phone at the hotel and she promised to send it to us within a couple of days.

Suggestions: With so much space available and used for outdoor spaces, the rooms still feel congested, and tiny. We couldn't find enough space to place an extra bed in the bedroom. The bathrooms were also small and lacked space to put things on the basin counter.

Also, considering the distance from the main town, and location of the hotel that is a little away from the temple and other places, there is a lack of public transport options from the hotel to the town (local tempo / rickshaw). The hotel should consider offering a shuttle service from the hotel to the town at certain fixed times in the day, for guests who have come to Dwarka by train or any other mode of transport other than a car.

All in all, a very pleasant stay at Hawthorn for 3 nights and 4 days. Highly recommended!...

I had the pleasure of staying at the breathtaking Hawthorne Suites by Wyndham in Dwarka, Gujarat from 15th Sept to 17th Sept with my senior citizen parents and I must say, it was an experience of pure luxury and indulgence.

We were traveling from Vadodara to Dwarka by road and unfortunately we took a wrong turn which made our journey extremely tiring but I was continuously in touch with the Hotel's Manager Mr. Mohit and he was kind enough to guide us the route. Though we reached quite late but from the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality by the friendly hotel staff. The check-in process was seamless and efficient, ensuring that we could start our stay without any delays.

Upon entering the Villa, I was immediately struck by its opulence and elegance. The attention to detail in the decor and furnishings was truly remarkable. Every corner of the property exuded grandeur and sophistication, creating an ambiance that was both inviting and luxurious. I would especially like to mention about the beautiful pillar they have at the reception area near the stairs with engraved shlokas from Bhagavad Gita, it is one of the most interesting spot for all the guests and attracts positivity.

The Villa itself was truly a haven of comfort and relaxation. The spacious and tastefully designed rooms offered a sense of tranquility and peace, and the plush beds ensured a restful and rejuvenating sleep. I especially appreciated the well-appointed amenities that were provided, including the luxurious toiletries and the state-of-the-art technology in the room.

One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional swimming pool and of course good food. The on-site restaurant offered a wide range of delectable dishes, from local delicacies to international cuisine, everything was pure veg and satvik.

The staff at Hawthorne Suites by Wyndham truly went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. From the friendly concierge who assisted us with our travel arrangements, to the attentive housekeeping staff who maintained the impeccable cleanliness of our room, every member of the team was dedicated to providing exceptional service with a genuine smile. Our heartfelt thanks goes to Mr. Mohit (Manager), Ms. Rikita Sharma and Mr. Radhe (Front Desk Support Staff).

The location is a bit far from the temple, about 7-8 km away however, it's a perfect getaway for people who want to enjoy peace and stay away from the chaos of the city.

Overall, our experience at Hawthorne Suites by Wyndham was simply outstanding. The luxurious Villa, impeccable service, and delightful dining options combined to create a truly unforgettable stay. I stayed in Hawthorn, Dwarka from 11 Jul to 15 Jul 24 with check out on 16 Jul. I am sharing my experience of this resort after a short while view i was awaiting for the response of this resort which I didn't receive. Being a govt servant having MoU with this resort i preferred to stay thinking of the authenticity and name. However, i was wrong. At the time of checkout i forgot some of my items including valuable(02 watches of fossil and micheal kores)in the room which i came to know the next day. I called up the staff to confirm that I had left some items. They acknowledged that yes my belongings are there i went on 17 Jul to get the items. When i checked all items were there except for the two watches. Immediately i called up the staff and informed them that two of my items were missing. They informed me that they will check and informed me that the item mentioned is not there. I immediately lodged the complaint against the hotel at Dwarka police station for missing items. The police personnel visited the hotel for inquiry and investigation. Instead of helping me out they started alleging me that i have not bring only the stuff. This makes me more angry towards the staff and hotel. I sent their GM mail also but the same cold response. To my satisfaction i checked again after reaching home if by mistake I left it at my home only but I didn't find it. I am sure that the hotel staff has stolen my watches and their staff is covering it up. I am taking this case to higher authority now because there is no safety in these types of hotel chains also. Above that they are behaving like nothing has happened. Same post i am posting in twitter also so that maximum people will come to know about this resort and try not to book it.
