Holiday Resort & Spa (A Unit of S. Poddar Group) — Hotel in Gujarat

The room which we got allotted is cottage. The room is spacious and luxurious. The property is also great with big lawn and gazebo in front of the rooms. The food is also good. But service is poor, since we were three occupants in one room, we asked for an extra bed on which they replied that third person will sleep on sofa. We denied to sleep on sofa and asked for a bed where he brought a hard thin mattress which was equivalent to sleep on floor. On complaining about these at reception, their answer was that we don’t have extra bed for third person. After heated conversation we asked the person to call manager on which he said manager will be only available in morning and if you want to complain then you should connect to the online partner from which we have booked the rooms. Again after some heated conversation we asked for manager’s phone number on which they called manager and when we explained the situation he also said they don’t have a proper bed but they do have soft mattress which was provided to us later. Being a 4 star property they don’t have portable bed for third person.

If you are three people in one room then you should avoid this place unless you are ready to sleep on...

We felt Hospitality of this resort was worst.We booked superior room with big sofa because of toddler sleeping and we confirmed that two times before reached.But at the time of check in they provided us deluxe room without sofa and reception staff was so much rude and don't want to accept their mistake.after so much arguments,they finnally have us correct rooms. After spoiling our mood, again they done blunder in morning breakfast.First staff told us to provide ala carte but after sitting on table they told us to go in room and order breakfast.My husband has already ordered buffet and I want to order from ala carte.so as per their rules,we both can not do breakfast together. Their price for buffet breakfast,lunch and dinner is above your imagination. rs 1100 plus Gst for dinner and lunch per person. They don't provide service according to rates.Resort is old and needs maintenance. Their pool project cafe was really good and staff was also nice. I have 3 year old toddler but this huge resort doesn't has any amenities for his entertainment.Their kids play area is under maintenance.No play area was there.only lawn gardens were there but due to heavy rain we can't enjoy...

Its a very big resort with club and water park inside (chargeable). The only thing about which we concerned was garden/lawn area. They have two/three big garden with good maintain grass. They do sell cottages saying its a garden facing cottage and charge for that, but the problem here is they rent this garden/lawn for events like weddings, birthday party etc. So If you are booking this cottage you will get the noise of loud speaker free plus there will be no garden view to enjoy. We faced a trouble while our visit to this resort there was some function. And the host of the functions were some big political person or their relative. They were playing DJ till 1. 20 am in the night with full loud music and bass. Even after often requesting them to slow down the voice by staff those guys were not listening. It created lots of disturbance. We have booked the resort for our wedding anniversary. But those guys spoiled everything. So if you are looking for a clam place. Don't book this resort or check before booking. Resort guys should also take care either rent garden or rooms, else rent everything to same party. There is no law and order followed...
