Hotel O Galaxy — Hotel in Gujarat

HORRENDOUS STAY!!!!!

I am 32 years old, visited many hotels in my life till now but never experienced such worst stay at any Hotels.

Let me start from the start, I booked this hotel on OYO with payment done in advance for smooth check in, but for my surprise i was denied check in, the hotel staff said that they don’t take bookings from OYO anymore, i contacted OYO customer care number (thrice), never seen such a clueless customer executives, then i posted on twitter and immediately refund was initiated. It was almost 9:30 PM & i was tired due to travelling, so i booked this hotel for 1200 ₹ for the night.

Now what was wrong with this property is described below.

Room wasn’t cleaned after previous customer checked out. TV wasn’t working as there was no dth setup box. Dustbin was full with previous customers trash. Bed side drawers were filled with trash. On bed there were Dominos oregano seasoning packets. AC remote was not present in room. AC is controlled by reception person, they turn off the AC in 4-5 hours (felt like i am back in my hostel days where we had to turn off light's by 9 PM) Linen was not changed. Bathroom light’s were not working, so took bath keeping the door open, so room light’s helped a bit. Toilet seat had red spots, might be blood or pan masala stains. Previous customer used soaps were present in toilet. Trash was stuck in bathroom ventilation (cold drink bottle). Shower was not working properly. Mineral water given to me wasn’t sealed.

At last i would urge other people that please don’t book this property, it’s preferable to sleep on footpath...

I booked this hotel through Oyo rooms for my friend who was to fly out in the middle of night to an international destination, and this place was close to the airport plus well-rated. It appears that the ratings were deceptive. The hotel room had smelly crumpled linen, and bottled water with unlocked caps. Upon enquiry, it came out that the hotel fills up RO water in open bisleri-style bottles (!!). In the middle of night, there was no transport available, so the hotel arranged a cab who charged 4x the price and the cabbie claimed that he has to give a big cut to the hotel. There is no way to verify this, and of course the hotel is expected to deny such a claim. In any case, I and my friend have decided to avoid Oyo altogether. Earlier I thought not to review this hotel as they don't deserve to get my review, but....

Experience with this Oyo was worst. The staff was pathetic.

Situated in red light type area. Roam around hotel after 9 pm and see yourself. When we booked auto from airport to go to this hotel, auto wala asked, sir koi ladki wagereh cahiye to bolna mereko. We (me and my friend) ignored that guy but when we roam around the hotel nearly 9 pm, I can't share what we saw. I think this was the reason behind whatever auto wala asked.

One staff of this hotel don't bother to knock the door. He came in the room again and again even when we didn't called him.

Highly Not recommended for family and couples
