Hotel Pragati — Hotel in Gujarat

When we started the journey from Ahmedabad, we told our driver that brother, in the afternoon between 12:00 to 1:00, we have to eat first and then we will go to see the Statue of Unity.

We had hired a taxi from Ahmedabad to Sai Travels from Ahmedabad. When our driver held the car at Hotel Pragati, just 17 km away from the Statue of Unity, we realized that the driver was also very experienced.

Just as we thought about the hotel, we took it to the hotel and held it for lunch, the name "Hotel Pragati" is the same, the progress is the same, very beautiful environment, very spacious parking and the staff here is very understanding guest. They soon understand what to eat and what they would like, if you are going to visit the Statue of Unity with your family, then definitely take a meeting of...

From what I ordered, below my review. Had breakfast and lunch same place

*Disaster Onion uttapa- maybe rush hence was very undercooked......mushy Dosa- actually the sambar was Gujarati dal (sweet) with sambar masala. Chatany tasteless Bajri rotla- was on bitter side and this is epic - I ordered “sev usal”. It was just sev swimming in bowl of liquid which tasted like dal. No full pulses or spices. I asked the table manager it tastes like sev in dal, he replied innocently- No sir, it is sev In SAMBAR 🤯

Rooms are good..!! But in terms of hospitality this is the worst hotel i have ever witnessed..!! We booked three rooms for our family. The time was 11:00 PM and it was heavily raining and everyone was tired so we asked the receptionist (Owner) to provide ID Proofs of two three members after sometime. He badly shouted on us and asked us to provide ID’s first and then you can use rooms. Although we understand that this is the legal process and it should be followed first but the tone he used was very bad and insulting. Worst experience of my life ever..!! Don’t visit such hotels who dont respect its customers. You guys are running hotel and you dont know the meaning of hospitality..!!...
