Prices are not low but the value for money is very low||Property is a more than 100 year old palace in need of maintenance. The rooms are large but that's it. The royal charm is missing. Bathrooms are bit shabby and the fittings are not well fitted.||The "royals" it seems were staying in the same premises while we were there so it does seem a lack of interest on their part to bring a touch of royalty in the place.||We were served oily dinner ordered from some restaurant outside on a large dining table with a dusty plastic cloth. The ticket charges is Rs. 30/- per head (Nov. 2018). ||One can find old relics of Maharaja with a area dedicated to lot of family photos. ||Rest of the place is closed and locked. Had a peek at the back garden and the swimming pool. The pool is kept dry as there is no one to use it. ||Although not a great place, it a good stopover on the way to Vadodara from the Statue of Unity as...
