A good hotel with many problems: First about Pros: My wife and I stayed in this hotel recently in Sept 2024. The hotel has a good location on the Guna by pass, it's clean and spacious, linen and bathrooms were clean, the hotel looks grand from outside, has plenty of parking space and big green lawns. The staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed in a super deluxe room which had a balcony and a very good view of hills.
Cons: In spite of all the above good points we will probably not stay here again due to several following points. There was no hot water in spite of promises by the management many times since the evening that we came. We wasted three or four buckets of water but hot water never came in the evening and much worse in the morning. We took a bath with cold water. The fridge was a joke. It was not cooling at all. It was raining when we came and there was water leakage from one of the big windows behind our bed. It was sealed by the staff quickly. There was no power for almost 45 minutes due to some faulty switch. It was also repaired by the staff immediately. However , due to these issues we could not relax or take a bath for 1.5 hrs after a 9 hrs drive from Delhi. The Airtel dish had limited choice of channels and no Marathi channels. The restaurant is strictly veg. It has a good decor but the food taste is the main purpose and it was not satisfactory. We had ordered a Mediterranean sizzler and what was brought was a platter of kabab/ tikka. The waiter insisted that this is sizzler. They have no idea what is a sizzler. The kabab taste was just passable. The soup was good. More disappointing was the breakfast spread ...it was quite limited. The idly and the kheer were the only two good things. Poori bhaji and poha were also available. We were told that toast and butter can not be given , omlette is also not possible ( it's veg only) . Only one tetra pack juice was available and that was also not kept outside but was...
