Badkhal Lake Resort — Hotel in Haryana

Once a beautiful place with enchanting view of the lake, now in most neglected stage. Although announced by the present Haryana Govt, a plan for revival of the lake, nothing happened. The lake completly dried, with cattles grazing and children playing cricket. The erstwhile beautiful park on the bank of the lake and the side paths are in worst Condition owing to lack of proper maintenance over the years. The Badkhal Tourist complex has very good infrastructure with resorts, restaurants, bar, garden, conference hall, swimming pool and host of other facilities. But everything is poorly maintained. The resort adjoining the lake has spacious rooms with garden or lake view. But, the rate charged is not woth for it, considering the present condition of thus tourist complex. The complex has good staff strength, but their out put is very minimum. Hardly a few people used to occupy the rooms in the resort even during week ends. This is the best example for 'Maximum Staff, Minimum Service'. However, those who desire to have a peaceful stay in a place far away from the crowd can still prefer this place . -A...

Amazingly located property but need alot of maintenance and revamp. It must be handed over to Private Players who can actually earn and run the show profitably. Govt people and staff has actually exploited this along with the locality.one or another part of the entire resort you will find passing from serious repair and damages. Unsafe in evening and service is also not at par. Staff is matured and seasoned still due to insufficient resources and support they are helpless to cater. Day time can be useful for picnic point of view. Otherwise a peaceful and value for money. Ideal space in day time to spent quality time with your loved one. In lack of security & proper infra you may feel insecurity around. Rate is reasonable.entrance is wheelchair accessible. Extremely Disappointing – Misleading Listing on Agoda

I would strongly advise against booking this property. I didn’t even check in after arriving, as the hotel conditions were far from what was advertised on the Agoda app. The rooms looked nothing like the photos, and most disappointingly, the swimming pool — one of the main reasons I chose this hotel — has reportedly been non-operational for the last 4–5 years.

After a long journey, arriving to such a mismatch was incredibly frustrating. Even the hotel staff admitted that they’ve previously asked Agoda to update the listing and remove the pool images to prevent misleading future guests.

This experience felt like a complete scam, especially considering the high price I was charged for such substandard facilities. I urge future travelers to double-check reviews on Google before booking and not rely solely on booking...
