Our recent experience at Holiday Inn during my sister's wedding event was nothing short of a nightmare. From start to finish, we encountered a multitude of issues that left us deeply disappointed and frustrated.
Check-in Chaos: The check-in process was chaotic, with guests left stranded and confused due to the lack of assistance from the concierge.
Miscommunication and Room Hygiene: Communication was severely lacking, resulting in rooms being left in disarray. Despite multiple complaints about room 207, cleaning issues persisted, and wet clothes were left unattended. It took personal intervention to see any improvement.
Lack of First Aid Facilities: Shockingly, there was no first aid kit available on the premises, posing a serious risk in case of emergencies. The delay in obtaining basic medical supplies was unacceptable.
Inadequate Catering Services: The catering services were subpar, with a severe shortage of plates causing frustration among guests. The lack of coordination between staff and the kitchen only made matters worse.
Unprofessional Staff Behavior: Staff engaged in abusive and inappropriate behavior in front of guests, which is completely unacceptable in any professional setting.
Maintenance Issues: Several lamps in the hotel rooms were not functioning properly, indicating a lack of maintenance and attention to detail.
Poor Response Time: Despite repeated calls to reception, there were significant delays in receiving basic amenities such as towels, reflecting poorly on the hotel's commitment to customer satisfaction.
Furthermore, the amount paid for the event felt like a complete waste, considering the level of service provided. Therefore, I am requesting a refund of the amount paid, as the experience was far from satisfactory.

It took me an hour to get my room key card and even 20 minutes to get my luggage to the room, which I had to call twice to the reception and ask them to send it. The floor was not clean, table in the room was broken and dirty, couple of buttons were missing, hand towel stand was broken. I had booked through Agoda, I even asked them, do you give your worst rooms to guests booking through these portals, she lacked basic courtesy. Restaurant staff was better. We had buffet dinner, not so special for the price. Few were good, few items lacked salt. I had prepaid for my room in which it clearly said extra bed, but all I got was a makeshift mattress on the floor. When I asked for the proper one, they said it is all being used in other rooms, as if I am staying for free. Check out also was a big headache. There was a marriage going on, so everyone were busy attending only to them. I asked to send someone to get luggage, they said all busy, wait for half an hour. I got my bags down. I wanted to keep the luggage at the hotel and collect them later as I had an evening flight, for that also no response, leave it at the bell desk, everyone is busy.
