Hotel Patiala — Hotel in Haryana

Stayed here by booking via Oyo. I have no idea how this hotel has 5 stars on Google reviews. All paid/fake reviews for sure. Cons : Though we stayed here only for a few hours, the experience was not very good. 1. The rooms were pathetic. Old bedsheets, washroom and sink not clean. Old soaps, used towel lying beside the sink. The toilet was too close to the sink, that you had lean back so that your face doesn't touch the sink. NO LIFT!. It's a 2 floor building with steep steps, so don't come here if you have physical challenges. We did not know this and my aged mother had no other way but to slowly climb up. Fortunately we got a room in the first floor. Hotel should mention it in their page that they don't have a lift. So should OYO, which kept on praising the hotel. One of the rooms had a broken commode. Location is not that great. Though it is 10 mins away from Bhrama Sarovar, it is a small hotel, so no parking and the steets are narrow.

Pros(tried hard to come up with a few): Cheap hotel. Not expensive at all. If you are single and on a budget and don't mind some filth then you can go for it. Check in did not take time as we had already paid and booked...

Location was nice, very quiet. Mostly here the rooms are given to the couples. I did not see any families here. Therefore do avoid the stay in this hotel if planning with kids.
