I want to share my worst experience at Rajaji Hotel, Jind. While the hotel is located in a prime area with a good exterior view, the reality inside is extremely disappointing.
The rooms are very dirty, the mattresses have a bad smell, and the bathrooms are in terrible condition – with rusty taps and showers that clearly haven’t been maintained. Hygiene seems to be completely ignored.
The day manager was polite and cooperative, but the night manager was extremely unprofessional and didn’t know how to speak to guests properly. I even observed him acting like a bouncer outside the hotel on some nights, which felt very uncomfortable and unwelcoming.
Most importantly, I strongly do not recommend this hotel for families. It appears to be more of a short-stay spot for couples, many of whom check in for just a few hours. I have no issue with couples, but a hotel that allows such frequent hourly bookings is clearly not suitable for family stays.
I also read similar complaints from other guests in past reviews, but it’s clear the management has taken no action. They seem more focused on income from a school located next to the property than on improving hotel standards.
Overall, a very bad experience. Would not recommend for anyone seeking cleanliness, professionalism, or a family-friendly...
Read moreMy recent stay at Hotel Rajaji was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a refreshing traditional welcome. The hotel beautifully combines modern amenities with a touch of heritage charm, making it stand out from the rest.
The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I had one of the most restful sleeps during my travels. The bathroom was well-maintained, with excellent water pressure and premium toiletries provided.
The staff here deserves a special mention – always courteous, professional, and ready to assist at any hour. The room service was prompt and the food—especially the local dishes—was delicious and well-presented.
Location-wise, Hotel Rajaji is ideally situated – close to key attractions, transport, and markets, yet peaceful enough to relax after a long day.
If you're looking for a value-for-money stay with top-notch service, Hotel Rajaji is the place to be. Highly recommended for both leisure and...
