We had an amazing stay at Atithi Homestay. I went to Bir with my Son and Mom and stayed for around 7 days. The Homestay is equipped with everything that you need to call it your home and more. To add to it, It is nestled amidst lush greenery, providing breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The atmosphere is so serene and peaceful that you would not like to come back.

One of the key highlights of this Homestay is the opportunity to interact with the friendly and welcoming owners. Mr. Kapoor and his family are known for their warm hospitality and make guests feel right at home. They are often eager to share stories, local traditions, and provide insights into the culture of the region. Their genuine care and personalized attention contribute to a memorable stay.

The food served is homely, healthy and traditional. We savoured local delicacies prepared with fresh ingredients, which were sourced from the nearby jungle.

The Homestay has a beautiful river nearby and the road at the back side of the house is worth a stroll. It is very close to the landing site and not much far from all the nearby attractions which makes it very convenient for the travellers.

Mr. Kapoor will make arrangements for everything you need from a Guide to take to you to Bangoru waterfall, a paragliding pilot, a driver to take you to the market or anything as small as a medicine you need.

This is place is safe, serene, peaceful and beautiful.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a delightful homestay in Bir, Himachal Pradesh, and I cannot recommend it enough. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the serene environment, charming rooms, delicious food, and the convenience of being within walking distance of the main market. Additionally, one of the highlights of my stay was the opportunity to embark on the Gunehar waterfall trek without the need for any transportation.

I chose this homestay after reading good reviews and after my stay I can confirm that all these good reviews were genuine. Location: This is not exactly in Bir village but around 3 km away from it. Accessibility: There is a narrow single-lane road to reach this place. Parking: Two-wheelers may reach upto the homestay but cars & bigger vehicles will have to be parked by the narrow road a little further. Rooms: There are four rooms on the first floor; one for a solo-traveler and the rest for more. A good amount of attention has been paid to the ambience and cleanliness; there are plenty of potted indoor plants. The toilet is well-maintained and clean. WiFi is available but I wasn't told about it. There is no TV in the room. There is a small closet, rack and two chairs with a table. Beds are wide and mattresses are comfortable; linen are clean. There is a separate kitchenette for those staying long and cooking own food. Service: Excellent; highly cooperative, friendly and helpful. I never heard no to anything; always accommodating and willing to help. Will help to plan itinerary and arrange paragliding.
