The owner, Mr Vats, collected us from the main road and was on hand for the whole time if needed, he's a first class host. The rooms are very well appointed with all you could need, clean, en-suite bathroom, tea/coffee making and a lovely balcony with chairs right outside. One real nice thing about the Dhar cottages is that I have never felt so close to nature. Sitting on the balcony in the evening I could feel the stresses of working life and traveling drift away. Wish I had stayed longer. Will be...
Read moreOne of our best stays was at Dhar Cottages. Firstly, the cozy and comfortable cottages nestled in the valley were a treat away from the busy life of the cities. It's very well made and a beautiful place. Very cozy and aesthetically appealing. Away from the noise and clutter of the traffic. The highlight of the place was the host there. The father-son duo were a very pleasant pair as hosts. They made sure our stay was comfortable and memorable. The cook was also a gentle man. Plus the trek uphill to the madir was a great one. The silent atmosphere there was a treat. I would love to visit this place again and would recommend it to everyone seeking a...
