On the long Independence Day weekend where Kasauli was overbooked we found this place via a friend. When we called the hotel to stay for a night, they tried to make us pay extra by making us stay at the place for 2 nights minimum to confirm the booking. Even though there is nothing to do in Kasauli for 2 days, we agreed as we were booking 4 rooms and were a big group. |On reaching the hotel, the only thing that was smooth was the check in and the torture started soon after. |The rooms looked like they hadn't been cleaned since the hotel was inaugurated. The bathroom looked like one of those public toilets at a hospital. The bedsheets had food stains, blood stains n god knows what all. Since there was no other option n we had paid in advance, we went n brought our own bed sheets n quilts to somehow stay at the place. Used 2 bottles of bug spray to kill all the bugs n spiders at the place and a lot of sanitizer to clean the horrible bathrooms.|I would like to mention that the only 2 positives at the place were the delayed food and the service staff. Compared to all the grossness we experienced, these 2 seemed like a boon.|On the 2nd night however, while we were all sitting and enjoying our dinner, one of the cheap plastic chairs broke due to which a family member even got hurt. Nome of the staff said anything to us and we assumed that the chair was old and thus broke. The next thing we know is that the owner barges in on us and starts shouting at how he is under losses due to the chair breaking and how we are creating a ruckus for "families" staying there. I would like to mention that we were 4 couples with small kids who were enjoying our dinner at 11 pm. And when we confronted him on what we had done, he just ran away n never explained anything or let is explain anything at all. It's not just the incident that is making me rant about the hotel, the whole place in itself is so bad. There were spiders n other insects in the room. It hadn't been cleaned in ages. The besheets n quilts smelled like trash. There were stains on the walls, bed, curtains everywhere. The towels were so dirty we had to buy our own. The glasses in the room looked like they had never been cleaned. The handles on the doors were broken. |Please.. never stay at this hotel....
ย ย ย Read moreWe were looking for an economical stay in Kasauli for 7 of us and we happen to browse through Hotel Bliss. Though the facilities and rates mentioned on the website seems promising but they actually arenโt. We already did 30% online payment as a part of booking and the suffering started from there. There was no body to attend our call at the reception when we were searching for the exact location. We travelled approx for 1 hr within Kausali only to discover that this resort as far as 11 Km from the mall road, which is incorrectly mentioned on the website. We checked in at 4 AM in the morning only to witness a bunch of people sitting and drinking shamelessly. Instead of assisting us with our check in, we were welcomed with another demand of making 50% payment for the booking. Hotel owner asked to leave immediately (off course accompanied with uncivilized language and behavior) when we refused to pay extra amount against our booking. We finally stayed there for a couple of hours and left the hotel as soon as we thought itโs feasible for us to find another place to stay. Please see the hotel is in such a remote area that you would not even find a trace of human tribe. We were told that we have been booked on 2 standard and deluxe rooms but in reality they just have standard rooms which are not in a condition of being terms as rooms.||Please donโt to this place if you want to...
ย ย ย Read moreI recently stayed at Hotel Bliss Kasauli, and unfortunately, my experience wasn't great. When we first arrived, the reception staff informed us that the deluxe room was โน3000 with breakfast and โน2500 without. We decided to book three rooms without breakfast for โน2500 each. However, during checkout the next day, a different staff member told us we had booked two Super Deluxe rooms, which came as a complete surprise. We were shocked because we had clearly requested three rooms at โน2500 each. Despite our explanations, the staff insisted that we had one deluxe and two super deluxe rooms, and we were forced to pay an additional โน1000. To make matters worse, They had not properly filled out the booking form, made me sign it without confirming the room categories, and did not inform me that we supposedly had two Super Deluxe rooms and one Deluxe room. Even though we had small children with us, including one under 1 year old and another just 4 months old, they still demanded ID cards for the kids. Overall, it was a disappointing experience at Hotel Bliss Kasauli. Be sure to double-check the room categories before finalising...
