Hotel Sangla Mansion — Hotel in Himachal Pradesh

We came as a senior adult couple travelling through India. Rittik the manager is a pleasant young man trying to carry out his duty as best he can. The rooms are equipped with a kettle and have a good hotwater shower Most of all have a spectacular view of the snow capped mts in the region . For someone coming from another continent this is a precious view to cherish We stayed a night,being so satisfied and came back for a second a week later. I have discussed at length some matters with management regarding noise insulation in the rooms!They are very sympathetic and most understanding to try and make amends.I admire this approach,service givers,must be able to improve and listen.Tgey certainly did!

We encountered very rowdy late night weekend guests who banged doors and were highly inconsiderate.(admittedly no fault of management..!)Serious sleep disturbance.! The breakfast served was first time very rich,whereas 2nd visit it was,rather less with little choice. This is the better place to stay,undoubtedly. Have promised to revisit should we be in this...

While going to Chitkul, around 3 pm, just see the board outside the property, having an interesting invite for a break. I asked my driver to stop for some snacks and tea. As soon as the vehicle stops a girl came to our side and offered us the alI she had on board. Finally, we had some snacks and in the mean time visited the property.

This a new property amidst sangla valley having a breathtaking views from the room and surrounded by apple trees (though there was hardly any apple left at the time of our visit).

We go upto the Chitkul enjoyed there and eventually found that the weather it quite tough and most of the hotels had shut their doors.

We decided to take this property for the night and our decision was well.

Mr. Sikander and Miss. Navita are perfect hosts ensuring that every guest is comfortable in each way. I had a long conversation with them about this property.

There's a lot more things to share but for the time being, it's enough.

It was a great experience for us to have such a nice hosts, definitely visit...

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Poor Management and Service

Our stay at this hotel was deeply disappointing, primarily due to the behavior of the manager, Ritik. He was extremely rude and unprofessional—not only toward male guests but equally disrespectful toward female guests. His attitude was not just unpleasant, it was confrontational. Shockingly, he even argued with our driver, which was completely unnecessary and uncalled for.

One of our fellow travelers was feeling unwell during dinner and politely requested just a few spoons of curd, but the request was handled with zero empathy or understanding.

To add to the frustration, we were charged for services that we never used, and when we raised this issue, it was met with hostility rather than any attempt to resolve the matter.

It's clear that the manager lacks basic hospitality training and customer service skills. I strongly advise future travelers to consider other options, as a poor management attitude can ruin an otherwise...
