I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Indraprastha Resort in Dharamshala, India, and I must say, it exceeded all of my expectations in every way possible.
First and foremost, the location of the resort is absolutely stunning. Nestled amidst the serene mountains of Dharamshala, the views from the resort are simply breathtaking. Waking up to the sight of snow-capped peaks and lush greenery was a truly rejuvenating experience.
The hospitality and service provided by the staff were exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and made to feel right at home. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and memorable. Whether it was arranging sightseeing tours or catering to my dietary preferences, they were always ready to assist with a cheerful attitude.
Now, let's talk about the food - absolutely delicious! The resort's restaurant offered a wide variety of delectable dishes, ranging from traditional Indian cuisine to international delights. Every meal was a culinary delight, prepared with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. I especially enjoyed dining al fresco while soaking in the panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
The accommodations were also top-notch. My room was spacious, elegantly furnished, and impeccably clean. The cozy bed provided the perfect retreat after a long day of exploring the picturesque surroundings.
Overall, my stay at the Indraprastha Resort was nothing short of exceptional. From the stunning location and delicious food to the impeccable service and comfortable accommodations, every aspect of my experience surpassed my expectations. I cannot recommend this resort highly enough to anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious getaway in...
Read moreWorst spa experience I have ever experienced. They requested I come in to select my treatments. I had book 3 treatments for 3 hours. My scheduled changed so I only had 1 hour facial. Which I called ahead to notify the hotel. When I arrived no on was at the reception desk in the spa. I walked to the waiting area where I was seated earlier that day, and the entire staff was lounging on the sofa. During my treatment there was intermittent drilling going on somewhere near the room my treatment was in. Maintenance should have been scheduled accordingly. The water was never changed per each application. By the time my final application was administered, my face was being wiped with a cold sponge. Lotion was left on my face upon the completion of my facial. I was expected to leave like this. Staff was rude and pushy when it came time to pay. Price Increased when I tried to use a card. Later when I did pull out the note to pay. I was walked to reception the gentleman at reception asked if I had exact change. I was shocked standing at a hotel reception being spoke to in such a manner. The transportation that was promised that afternoon was unavailable and I had to wait 30 MInutes for a taxi to take me 2.k at a cost of 350 ruppee. I was never offered a beverage not even a glass of water. When I mentioned I would like a cup of tea while I waited, I was eventually offered tea. I would like to add I have worked in the hospitality industry for over 30 years in 3 separate continents. From New York City to the Canary Islands. After traveling throughout India for the last 10 days I am shocked. I canceled another spa and selected this one upon reading the reviews. Gorgeous property 5 stars. All I can say is all that glitters is...
Read moreHorrible experience. Bathroom was smelling worse than a public toilet even after having it cleaned again by the staff. Bathrooms curtains were also stinking & had mildew all over!! Room was stuffy & had to turn on the AC on full swing and keep windows open, all in vain. Had no choice but to vacate the hotel. As expected the hotel charged us the complete ₹60,000 for a waste of time.
Post the very rude response from the GM of the hotel ..
Unfortunately your so called investigation needs serious revaluation! If you check your reviews from 5 months back, there’s been another customer complaining about the same issues with the bathrooms! If mildew is your idea of cleanliness then you probably need to refresh your housekeeping SOPs! Never did we ask for a COMPLIMENTARY upgrade! If we can pay an extra 17K a night at Radisson then we definitely don’t need your free suite room, especially in those unhygienic conditions! The bathrooms were cleaned once with cleaning products, but only mopped the second time after we insisted that the smell still persisted. We were in your property for exactly 1.5 hours, and throughout only looking for another accommodation alternative. The fact that we paid you your 60K and still opted for a more expensive hotel only proves how pathetic your services have been! And instead of being apologetic, you have the audacity to defend your services! Anyhow! All the best to your efficient team! Do look out for our review on various other...
