Read moreNice, cosy, and uncrowded stay before Shimla. Good value for money because it is reasonable and prices are not exorbitant as in Shimla. Better-than-usual services, even by HPTDC standards, because I guess the staff goes an extra mile. Also, it has only 6 rooms so staff's attention is not spread all over the place.

Read moreMy favourite restaurant in the area. HPTDC does a good job here. Set in a colonial dak bungalow settings the huge lawn by hill standards takes the cake. The food is excellent. The staff is extremely courteous. Sipping beer accompanied by their signature lemon chicken is an experience I always look forward to. Other recommended items are yellow daal, chilly chicken, kadhai chicken, and malai kofta. For tea time order separate tea. It's super. Mix veg Pakodas go well with it as do...
