+1 for food, +1 for service (especially the staff at the restaurant who serve you like family), +1 for the beautiful lawn/garden. Everything else about the resort is underwhelming.

It is located on top of a hill but does not offer any special view of the mountains/scenery. Surrounded by other hotels, private residences, and buildings, the views are just about average. There are balconies at the back and verandahs at the front of the rooms but again, there are no views of the valley. Our rooms had balconies that opened into unmaintained land and sometimes stench would travel inside the rooms with breeze. The plastic chairs and tables they provide in the balconies were too old and cracked. The common verandah is shared by 4 families/rooms. Unless you are a group travelling together and happen to occupy all or majority of the rooms, be prepared for frequent and awkward run-ins with the other families. The rooms are that close to each other.

Rooms themselves are small, although clean. We paid 12500 INR/night (MAP and an extra bed) for the room but have stayed in much larger and comfortable rooms for a lesser or equivalent price.

There's something else that was an issue, at least for us. The resort seems to sell itself to aspirants for destination weddings and large groups. This can lead to the resort being noisy at times. During our stay, a school group (100+ guests) was visiting. So if you are visiting for peace and solitude, this may not be the ideal resort.

The garden is a great place to unwind and relax (since the balconies are rather useless). However, there's something that is not a problem with the resort itself but the tourist culture we have in general. Look at the attached pictures. Some guests partied till late night at the garden and left behind their trail and mentality for other guests to feel disgusted at in the morning. If we don't do anything about this sad state that is a story of every tourist destination, we will soon kill whatever is left of our mountains and...

I was there in premium Room from 31st march to 3rd April, and i would like to give 2.5 out of 5 to Koti resorts..

Good and bad detailing:-

Good -View from the hotel is good. -clean environment. -ground working staff(house keeping, Room service) staff are good 👍.

Bad -when i requested the hotel to provide vehicle at Shimla railway station as the hotel is almost 17-18 km away from station but the reception guy denied he said (madam station p bht sare rental car hote hai aap wo lekr ajao ) they didn't arrange any cab.... When i reached to Shimla station the situation was horrified there was lots of vendor trying to know all the details of your and force you to hire their cab... Hotel must take responsibility of their guest at least for pickup and drop facility......(you must charge for the same but atleast your guest are in good hand u should insure this).

-when i reached hotel the basic facilities like slippers, tooth brush was not their at room when i asked the reception guy he said madam sabhi guest ko required nhi hota hai is lia nhi rakha hai apko jo bhi chaiye aap call krlo(R u serious u r asking your guest to make a call for basic need in your premium Room for which u r charging 7300 per day ohhh man).

-my room was with Jacuzzi but the jacuzzi is to old and broken, water leaks.

-their is no respect of individuality we try to take buffet in evening and in morning breakfast but they prepare their food as according to their group of guest. (the group of guest came from #@#@ company they ordered veg buffet that is why for our all 3-4 stays we didn't get any nonveg buffet ) and becoz of this we had...

Our wedding at Koti Resorts, Shimla, was nothing short of magical. From the stunning backdrop of the majestic Himalayas to the impeccable service, every detail was flawlessly executed, creating a fairy-tale experience that we and our guests will cherish forever.

The resort itself is a hidden gem, offering a perfect blend of luxury and nature. The beautifully manicured gardens, elegant interiors, and breathtaking views provided an idyllic setting for our ceremonies. The ambiance was serene and picturesque, making it an ideal venue for such a special occasion.

A special thanks to Mr. Rajeev, whose dedication and attention to detail made all the difference. His professionalism and commitment ensured that everything ran smoothly. From the initial planning stages to the actual events, Mr. Rajeev was always available, accommodating our every request with a smile. His expertise and calm demeanor were incredibly reassuring, allowing us to enjoy our big day without any worries.

The staff at Koti Resorts were equally exceptional, providing top-notch service with warmth and hospitality. The culinary team deserves a special mention for crafting a menu that was both diverse and delicious, catering to all our guests' preferences.

Overall, our experience at Koti Resorts exceeded all expectations. If you're looking for a wedding venue that combines natural beauty with outstanding service, look no further. We wholeheartedly recommend Koti Resorts for any special occasion, and we are eternally grateful to Mr. Rajeev and his team for making our wedding truly...

If you're looking for a dining experience that combines delicious food with breathtaking views, the restaurant at Koti Resort is the perfect choice. Nestled amidst the serene hills of Shimla, this spot offers not just a meal but a memory to cherish. We visited the restaurant recently and tried their Fried Rice, Manchurian, Cheese Chilli, and Spring Rolls. Each dish was bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked, showcasing their attention to detail and quality. The fusion of spices and textures was delightful, and the food was served fresh and piping hot. What truly stands out here is the ambience—the large windows offer the most stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, making it the ideal setting for a relaxed and peaceful meal. The decor is warm and elegant, perfectly complementing the natural beauty outside. The staff deserves a special mention for being exceptionally polite and attentive, ensuring a seamless dining experience. Their hospitality adds a personal touch that makes you feel right at home. Though we didn't stay in the rooms, we heard great things about them, and the resort itself exudes luxury and comfort. If you're visiting Shimla, even for a short trip, make sure to stop by the Koti Resort restaurant. It's an experience that combines fantastic food, impeccable service, and the best window view in town! Highly recommended.

Of Serenity & Tranquility My stay at Koti Resorts for 3 days and 2 nights had been an experience worth every second of my time and energy. It a beautiful resort surrounded by beautiful and spectacular view of the Himalayas. The resort, with its 54 elegantly appointed rooms & suites, is located a mere 30 minutes ahead of Shimla, between the picturesque town of Mashobra and the world famous Naldehra Golf Course. The Resort provides a luxurious experience with family or friends, rather a perfect place for Holidays or intimate gatherings. The staff and service is top-class. Everything is on the go as soon as you ask for it. Very polite staff and luxurious services here made my stay quite enjoyable and me & my group of friends has the best time of our lives. From delicious breakfasts to lavish dinners ranging from almost every cuisine here is a treat for the foodies like myself. The Bonfire and Musical Night in the Bar Area had been the highlight of my stay. The rooms are ultra luxurious and comfortable is well taken care of. If you’re heading towards the hills or planning one such trip, my recommendation would be to stay at Koti Resorts and experience the best time you can have. Koti Resorts is located on a charming hill-top.
