I’ve stayed at Mohija Homestay twice now, and both times have been wonderful! The food here is absolutely amazing — I’m a huge fan of their aaloo paranthe 😋. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and beautifully designed, each with its own unique theme.

One of the best things about this place is that you can even cook your own food if you’d like. The homestay has multiple rooms, making it great for families or groups. The owners are very warm and welcoming, which really adds to the overall experience.

The location is also quite convenient — about 12 km from Solan, 30 km from Shimla, and 28 km from Chail. It’s a peaceful spot surrounded by nature, perfect for a relaxing getaway.

Only one small suggestion — it would be great if there were some board games in the rooms for guests to enjoy during their stay.

Overall the homestay was nice with some valueable suggestions and feedback for the owner and for those who are planning to visit this place.

First the Pros: The rooms interior were beautifully maintained as shown in most of the pics. The one bhk set has all the basic amenities that a typical home stay has such as kitchen, induction cooktop, kettle, fridge, crockery etc. The blankets (rajai) and bedding were of top notch quality. Balcony and the view from it is awesome with grass flooring and beautiful swing. The owner arranged bonefire which made the night even more memorable.

Now the Cons:

Being a home stay, the food options are limited. That's the only cons... Rest all was nice...
