Nargu Camp & Adventure โ Riverside Camps & Warm Hospitality in Chitkul
I stayed at Nargu Camp & Adventure near Chitkul, Sangla (last ITBP check post area) and it was a memorable part of my Spiti Valley ride.
๐ Location & Scenery
Nestled right beside the Baspa River, the campsite offers panoramic views of the valley and striking mountain ridges. The serene riverside setting and dramatic hills make it feel like a natural retreat. Though located in a remote area, the surroundings are breathtaking and peaceful.
๐ Accommodation & Amenities
Stayed in their Swiss-style tents, which were clean, cozy, and well-kept.
They offer hot water on demand, shared washrooms, and basic but comfortable bedding.
Amenities include a bonfire area, common dining space, lawn, kidsโ play area, indoor games, and first-aid services. Free parking and luggage assistance also available.
๐ฒ Food & Service
The food was hearty and freshly prepared โ local Himachali and North Indian meals that hit the spot after a long ride. The ginger tea was impressive, especially in cold weather. Staff were consistently polite and friendly, eager to assist and share local insights.
๐ Highlights & Traveller Notes
Ideal for travelers headed to or from Sangla and Chitkul โ peaceful, scenic, and convenient.

Their hospitality is 100% We were on a bike trip and the day started from Narkanda, it started raining on the way and it didnโt stop by the time we reach Sangla it was already 7pm (25kms from the stay) and then snowfall started.
