Pristine Mountain Lodge Chail — Hotel in Himachal Pradesh

As much as the view from the lodge we liked, the service of Pristine mountain lodge was terrible. I won't blame the boy for the service however it is to be blamed on the person who is managing. Our stay was for 2 nights (16-17 Feb), The view of the lodge, mountain and balcony shown in the photos presented by Google is real. Only the greenery & view will differ as per the season or time of visit.

Good points:-

1. You can have a great view of mountains from the room, by adjusting the window panes.

2. Balcony on each room facing the mountain. You can enjoy the morning tea or the evening booze outside with friends/family

Note: Size of the balcony is not huge. Say itz good for 4 person. 5 will be congested and 6 will be overcrowded

3. Rooms were clean and well maintained

Bad points as experienced:-

1. Service is terribly slow . Reason it is resting on the shoulder of a single boy

2. Food/tea/snacks served were not hot In fact we faced a situation where we requested to change the peanuts served because it was served cold. They denied to change it instead said that's the best they can offer. It was like take it or leave it.

3. There was water issue on both the rooms we stayed

4. Also faced electricity issues on our check out day ( for a few hours )

5. Bonfire request was denied with some excuse

The place is not bad if the management can pay attention to improve the service.

Do I want to come back and stay here?

Well I don't think so unless the service is improved!!

The rooms are quite good and valley facing although certain aspects need to be improved.

The food is a bit on the costlier side but good and can definitely be improved.

The room service is also commendable although at times it took time to be attended.

The housekeeping need to be improved as on check-in the cupboards were not cleaned and there was nothing to keep those thousands of flies away, which started coming because of the wet and humid weather there.

However, they were very kind to provide brand new standing fans in the rooms on demand which helped in making the stay comfortable. The manager Mr. Naveen was kind enough to provide all relevant information related to the route, about the rooms, overall visit and alternate routes to avoid rush and traffic.

The approach to the lodge need to be improved for easier access, particularly for bigger vehicles.

Overall it was a very good stay and with some little modifications, it can become a fine place for a chilling and relaxed weekend. I was impressed to see no commercial activity or even any other hotel or lodge around which provides the much...

Amazing place, with fantastic, scenic views. The owner - Vijendra is very nice, with both great hospitality and great conversations. Nothing was ever anything that they said they couldn’t do. Always ready to accommodate the littlest of requests. ||The was to the resort includes about 200 meters of off-roading journey, not difficult, but Different. ||The servers (special mention - Rahul) were extremely polite and ready to accommodate and assist in everything. The food is out of the world amazing.
