The Sky Village — Hotel in Himachal Pradesh

If you are looking for a vacation in nature’s lap, away from the mundane chaotic routine of you metro life, 70 km from Mcleod Ganj ride “The Sky Village” is the best option to rejuvenate, experience nature and enjoy a healthy, clean natural ecosystem. Bir Billing Located in the west of Joginder Nagar valley in the state of Himachal Pradesh this green coniferous forest is the best destination for nature lovers and trekkers. Go on a forest trek, sit on rock enjoy the mesmerizing nature, and there surrounded by enthralling mountains from all sides was our camp site, a mesmerizing view straight out of a movie. At the camp, the tents provided were clean, comfortable and airy and the washroom quite maintained, considering the rough terrain. Food was quite homely and good. But the star of the camp was the “Welcome Drink” we couldn’t stop drinking that was so awesome. The evening bonfire around the camp was the best part and we had one of the best time there. Special mention needs to be made of the service provided and our heartiest thanks to Gagan (Owner) at the camp, they actually hung out with us and made the trip even more interesting. In fact at 11 in the night when we need some tea to have it, he made it by its self. The entire staff in fact was so helpful and friendly that we had no inconvenience whatsoever and enjoyed the whole time. The place is awesome and ideal off-side/ short trip for office team, friends and families alike. Just that we couldn’t experience the paragliding because of bad weather but I guess we have reason to visiting again. Awesome, Amazing and breathtaking!!! Hope to visit again...

Had booked for a group of 10. Stay+paragliding including food, bonfire and a dj party that was ongoing on those dates. After reaching there's no electricity, even when electricity came there we find no ports to even charge our phones in the tent. You have to go to the main building to charge your phones. When we reached the dj party they said we'll have to pay for it and had to waste 30-40 mins talking and showing proof that it's already included in the package.

The staff was very rude they talk in a very bad tone. The non veg food was somewhat fine but vegetarian was worst, no taste at all in any dishes.

But the worst of all things were yet to happen to us. Next morning when we had to begin all our adventures, there's no water in bathrooms. Leave bathing but people need to fresh themselves after eating there horrible food. After we complain the staff they say, "aapme se he kisi ne raat me nal khula chor diya hoga". This issue lasted for about 4-5 hours.

Our group wanted to stay in tents for experience but I would suggest staying in Bir. Next day we stayed in Bir in a hostel which was in every way better. We enjoyed like hell there.. music, bonfire, freedom to do anything. And food was delicious veg and non veg both. Owner was a lovely beautiful women who made us feel like family. lots of investment goes to ruin when you cant manage things, my experience there was on 1st jan 2022 which was pathetic,

Mr. Rahul aka the manager of property did't gave a dam about us. we waited 3 hrs in hunger and cold only for a tea, in peak winter conditions when it was freaking cold he was unable to start bone fire, it was 1st of jan and there was no music, cherry on top you can't even call him on mobile coz there is no network.

when i complaint Mr rahul about these un-comforts , i told him this property is not recommendable for others so i will not. on this his reply was " we don't need your recommendations either"

so guys they don't care about what your experience will be, coz we guys just keep booking blindly just seeing good pictures, but they got nothing good to offer.

one last thing they don't provide water for bath, coz tents don't have geezer . mobile can't be charged in tents.

i should have left earlier, it was late nite and a 500m climb to reach road from there so i stayed for nite, left early without breakfast and didn't paid them anything, coz they don't deserve your hard...
