Burj Cottage — Hotel in Jammu and Kashmir

Our recent visit to Burj Cottage was highly disappointing. The service was subpar from start to finish. We were initially served what seemed like river water. After bringing it to the staff's attention, they did replace it, but this should not have happened in the first place.

The food was pre-cooked and lacked freshness, making for a very unsatisfactory meal. Breakfast options were limited to one choice, and anything additional came with an extra charge. This lack of variety and flexibility was very disappointing.

When planning for Pahalgam you can choose Burj Cottage, Pahalgam for best experience of Kashmiri culture and living. Their cottage is located at a beautiful place, riverside. It is very near to the main highway so no issues finding the property. They have maintained the place keeping kashmiri culture in mind. You would love the beauty inside out. Mehran bhai is an amazing person who is a manager here and Younis bhai is a gem person. They helped us explore the surroundings and riverside area. I had the worst experience ever at this place. They started calling us for dinner from 9 pm, worst food, and since we were in a group, they served everyone at the same time. The reason? They only warm the food once. This bizarre policy, along with numerous other restrictions, completely ruined our long-awaited trip.
