TLDR: They don't keep heating on even half of the night. They made me believe they had good heating when i was booking rooms for group with infant and senior citizens. Long version: I had booked 2 family rooms, for Rs.13,000, for one night, Nov 17th-18th 2024. For people aged between 2 year old 72 year old, with 5 senior citizen. We are from a state that stays between 25 to 40C year round. So, as one could imagine, heating was a priority for sleeping properly. And what happened was the room started getting cold from 10pm onwards. When i went to turn up the heating, there was nothing coming from the heater 10pm onwards. I thought maybe it will get warmer later on. All of us were very tired from the day and went to sleep early that night. But as the night went on, the room kept getting colder and colder, by 1:30am, I and many of us woke up from the cold. The landline was dead in my room. So i went to the reception. There wasn't a single staff to be seen in the entire hotel. So I called up the number in which i booked the room. She gave me other phone numbers to contact. After like 10 to 20 phone calls, I was informed that heater will only work till 01:00 am. They told me this was the no other customers had complained about this before. Which is very unlikely. I requested them to keep it on just for tonight in that case, but to no avail. They convincing me while booking the rooms - "we have centralized heating, heating wont be an issue" when i asked specifically that we have many senior citizen, and need proper heating. I don't know the specific time they turned off the heater. My guess is its off from 10pm onwards. But even if what they say is right, and heater was off only at 1 am, it got cold so fast in the room that we were awake due to the cold by 1:30 am. Don't be fooled by the front hotel sign that reads "Centralized Heating" right beside the name of the hotel. What is the point if you turn it off to save a little bit of money ?

I had an amazing experience during my stay at the hotel! The whole hotel is centrally heated and I was very skeptical about it because I was travelling to Pahalgam in the month of December but I was very impressed by everything. The hotel room is nice and warm, the service is on point, the food tastes good and all the young boys are very respectful and helpful! I was very very impressed with this hotel because before coming to Pahalgam I stayed at an Air bnb in Srinagar and it was cold and not comfortable at all. But Hotel Fifth Season and the staff made my Kashmir Trip excellent. To be very honest I’m from America and I’m used to being comfortable everywhere I go. I understand during winters in Kashmir it can be quite harsh which I was ready for. Because of my experience at the Air BnB in Srinagar I was thinking I would never visit Kashmir in Winters if it’s actually this cold and there is heating issue everywhere. After my stay at Hotel Fifth Season I would visit Kashmir again. Special thanks to Mohsin-Shafi who provided excellent service during dining. I was very impressed by him as he managed the whole dining area by himself. He was quick with the service and made sure every guest has everything they need. IF YOU ARE VISITING PAHALGAM PLEASE STAY AT THIS HOTEL I PROMISE YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE.

One of the worst hotel I seen in my kashmir tour .... I stayed in room no.108 which is so small ... Same room picture which they put is totally mismatched ... I checked in at 4.30pm and ask them to turn on the heaters but till mid night they are not able to start the heater in my room... every 15 min. I called the reception for the the same and they keep giving me false commitment only .... At 11.30pm heaters are on but in 30 min they turn off the heater and then full night they did not able to start it again .... Beds are small in size too ... I sleep on bed with my legs are out of bed....there were not enough light in room ... Just 3 small lamp in room giving the feeling that we are in helloween room. ...I booked the room with extra bed for my kid and once they placed that extra bed in my room there is no space left to walk or put my luggage in the room ...morning 7am there is no water in washroom .... Even in washroom there is no mirror ....Rooms lights are also going and coming ....window curtain are also so small that it is not covering full windows. .....

Stay Dates:3rd to 5th Feb 2024 Room:305 Located amidst serene surroundings, Hotel Fifth Season offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of the main market area. While it's a bit of a trek from the main hub, the peaceful ambiance more than compensates for the distance.

Guests will appreciate the effective heating system, which includes a central heater and electric blanket, ensuring warmth even on chilly Kashmir nights. Additionally, the central geyser system ensures a steady supply of hot water in the bathrooms, adding to the convenience and comfort of the stay.

One of the highlights of the hotel is the breathtaking view from the rooms, particularly those situated towards the rear and on the 3rd floor. The picturesque vistas serve as a delightful backdrop to any stay, offering a glimpse of the natural beauty that surrounds the property.

While the absence of an on-site restaurant may be noted, the hotel compensates by offering buffet breakfast and dinner, albeit with a limited spread. Despite the modest variety, the dishes are tastefully prepared, satisfying the palate with their decent flavors.

A standout feature of Hotel Fifth Season is its exceptionally helpful and supportive staff. From check-in to check-out, guests are treated with warmth and attentiveness, ensuring a memorable and hassle-free experience throughout their stay.

We stayed for one night at Hotel Fifth Season. We booked a Quad Room but on arrival they said there is fault in Room and we will provide you 2 Double rooms instead of 1 Quad Room (The rooms provided were basic and the view from the Rooms was Garbage Dumping site of the whole Pahalgam.||||However, I would like to specially mention that the staff behavior is rude and they are not at all hospitable specially at reception and Owner Mujeeb.||||On the day of my checkout, I got a call from reception staff at 11:45AM that if you stay in the room for more than a single minute than we will charge you for another day. I was surprised to hear this and as hotel was not house packed for that particular day and nobody was waiting for us to checkout from the room. I informed that we are checking out in another 10 min, Mujeeb said I will charge you for the next day. On top of this, hotel owner Mujeeb said that it is the hotel policy if person stays in our hotel after 11 o'Clock then he gets charged for next day. I told them that even one star hotels are more hospitable than the services which are provided by you. ||Won't recommend anybody to this hotel as this kind of hospitality is never expected when you book expensive or cheap hotels. The staff should be trained how to deal with the customers. ||||I would not even like to give a single rating to this hotel.||Don't fall in...
