Hotel Patnitop by EMT — Hotel in Jammu and Kashmir

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this hotel was genuinely frustrating. The room was far from clean — stains on the sheets, dust everywhere, and the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in days. It made the whole stay uncomfortable.

What made things worse was the staff. From check-in to check-out, they were cold and unhelpful. Any questions or requests felt like a burden to them. There was no hospitality or effort to make guests feel welcome.

Moreover when we insisted to change the bedsheets the hotel staff was like they are clean and we will not change it. After lot of argument we got the bedsheets changed but the new once were also not that good

Definitely not coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant or clean stay.

Even the room given to us was not same as what we booked. When we reached hotel it was told that those rooms are already booked

Had stayed in this budget hotel in Patnitop a long back ago. This hotel is surrounded by other hotels and trees. Don't get fooled by the name of the hotel, as it doesn't seem to be like one.||The facade of this hotel is simple having a few tainted glass windows. The lobby and reception desk of this hotel is smaller in size. The rooms of this hotel is small having balconies, a circular double bed, TV etc. One can get views of the surrounding area from the room. It has a dining area of a restaurant inside this hotel that offers Veg and Non Veg cuisine. One can order food or dine in the restaurant. The hotel service was good. The staff of this hotel was good. The rates were somewhat reasonable. My stay at this property was an extremely disappointing experience, largely due to its management. I strongly advise against booking directly with them, as they'll quote one price at check-in and then demand a significantly higher amount at checkout.

The rooms themselves were poorly maintained, unhygienic, and had an unpleasant odor. The bedsheets and bedding were stained, and the washroom was unclean with dirt on the floor. To make matters worse, they provided only a small, cheap bar of soap instead of standard amenities like body wash or hand wash.
