Canary Inn — Hotel in Jharkhand

The worst staff and service I have ever seen. It was like even to get a glass of water you need to ask specifically. I attended a wedding and was served cold and spoiled food, when asked manager about this, he said “what do you expect at this time of night (11:00PM) “, just to reiterate- it was wedding ceremony, 11 pm is not late at all. To add to the misery, on next day - the warm water was switched off for usage, when asked to be switched on, it went through multiple approval layers and took 30 mins, which hotel only serves cold water and that too in Winter. At breakfast, which is part of your stay at the hotel, the hotel staff commented that- “your people are eating too much, (making fun)”. They were having problem if a person was eating full stomach. We are staying in suite, but it does not worth to stay. Bathroom was stinking like hell. We asked for warm water, but even after 1 hr, they did not start the boiler. Router was not working and we were told by the staff that server is down, then next day we came to know that room's wire is short, that is the reason Wi-Fi is not working. Then, they gave us connection thru next room. Room service was bringing food in dirty tray and after seeing tray, you feel like not eating anything. Canary Inn was one of the first decent hotel cum restaurants cum bar lounge cum business cum function hosting venue in Hazaribagh.But the sheer lack of competition in the town made it very complacent in their attitude and behavior. It's service is getting worse every passing day.The Hotel is good modern property located in one of the most sought after locations in Hazaribagh.The Hotel got a flying start but it could not keep up its service and quality.
