The experience was far from what I expected, given the reputable Radisson brand associated with this hotel, which is managed by Sarovar Hotels, my expectations were understandably high, but the reality was deeply disappointing. Delayed Check-In Resolution: Upon arrival, we encountered an issue with the key to one of the rooms. It took the staff over 40 minutes and several failed attempts to resolve the problem. During this time, we had no choice but to crowd into a single room while waiting. Unclean and Dysfunctional Bathrooms: Later that evening, we discovered mud in the bathtub of one of the rooms. We attempted to clean it ourselves by draining water, only to realize that the blackish particles were coming from the tap itself. Shockingly, this issue was present in both rooms. While they sent someone to clean, it became clear that the problem was far more severe, and they eventually had to call in a plumber. This wasted more than 2 hours of our vacation dealing with hotel staff, housekeepers, and plumbers, rather than enjoying our stay. Room Change and Further Issues: Despite requesting a room change, the staff delayed the process. Later in the evening, we were told to shift to rooms. However, upon returning after dinner, we found that while one room was fine, the AC in the other room was not functioning properly. It took several attempts to reach reception and housekeeping before anyone came to check the AC, only to inform us that there was nothing they could do. Incompetent Handling and Disregard for Guests: Despite our repeated attempts to resolve the issue, the staff’s response was slow and unprofessional. After escalating the situation, they finally agreed to cancel our booking and refund the money. However, this involved a lengthy 40-minute call with the Radisson central helpline, which was incredibly frustrating. The quality of service, cleanliness, and management were severely lacking, and this was not at all the experience we expected from a Radisson-affiliated property.

It was wonderful experience at park plaza, but there was some scope of improvement, 1) Welcome drinks were not served. 2) In spite of prior information about arrival time which was around 9pm, extra bed was not laid, fruit basket, chocolate and cookies was part of the package but I was sad to see in the name’s sake fruit basket (two banana and apple) and four chocolate of the half the size of ounce and four cookies cling wrapped in quarter plate. 3) Extra bed was Wobbling we have to get it removed as it was tough to sleep on that. 4) One of the servers at oasis never came back to us when asked about the type of fish there will be available . I guess smriti. 5) Front office supervisor was not able to give orientation of the city, fair enough she was new to the city, she told us. 6) Lift was for some time under maintenance, it is understood. 7) Food was very good, my son like pizza and garlic bread , soup could have been better . 8) Room was clean and nice and as per count of the person , bath linen should have been placed . 9) Ankita beautiful lady with infectious smile gave us a steep rate but promised some services which was not delivered timely or not satisfactory service. 10) The prices we paid for 9pm check in and check out 12 noon next day was not fair , had been service great then the feel would have been better.

Pidgeons were bathing in the pool outside and it was disgusting, hence why no one was using it. We had burgers for room service and the bread was stale, and for breakfast the cutlery was dirty and the choice was poor. Easily worst experience in a hotel in India and worthy of 1 star.

We were given a room upgrade due to my radisson VIP reward status, which was nice until we realised the room was right next to 4 air conditioning units and the window had holes in it allowing all the noise to come through. When we told management the room was too loud and we wanted to change, they downgraded us to a standard room which had a terrible bathroom, no mini fridge and no hair dryer. They brought in a mini fridge and a hair dryer but the bathroom had mould on the ceiling and it was dirty throughout and the door was not opening properly. I don't think the room was cleaned before we were moved to it. Music blasted from a party organised by the hotel until 10:30pm one day. Pidgeons were bathing in the pool outside and it was disgusting, hence why no one was using it. We had burgers for room service and the bread was stale, and for breakfast the cutlery was dirty and the choice was poor. Easily worst experience in a hotel in India and worthy of 1 star.

I stayed at this property for 4 days & 3 nights from 17 July to 20 July 2024. As I checked in the room which I was allotted had an issue with the AC system, AC was leaking & the floor was full of water.

I requested reception to fix the issue, but my room was changed as they told that the technical snag will take long to be fixed.

As I happened to use the washroom there was no hot water & even the cold water was not coming of adequate flow for bathing and shaving neither in washbasin nor in the hand faucet & over head shower. I requested housekeeping to fix the issue, technician could do a temporary arrangement & thereafter this was an everyday affair to request for a fix.

Even the basic toiletries and towels were not placed in the room & there was no refrigerator in the room, although, hotel claims to be a four star hotel. I had to request all these. My request for a refrigerator was entertained after a complete day, that too when I requested it thrice and pleaded that I have a small kid, for whom eatables & milk is required to be stored in the refrigerator, finally had to walk down to service manager for the request to be attended.

I had breakfast & one major meal in my package. First day as I requested for lunch as first major meal, I was told that it can be served in the Geoffrey bar, but the staff was not welcoming. Staff seemed to be untrained, I had to request for cutlery and water in the table, there was no one to attend. I had to literally request them for everything. Although food preparation was awesome & delicious and that was the only saving grace.

Even in the breakfast the spread is limited. Same goes for the dinner, although they charge you for a buffet dinner, however, would sheepishly tell you to select from a limited menu, giving reason that buffet is not arranged as the guest strength is limited, This happened with me on both the days.

During breakfast also, staff was least bothered to ensure that cutlery & water is placed for the guests. These were to be requested from the staff every day during breakfast.

In the nutshell,

Rooms - property is old & rooms need an upgradation. Hotel management is required to ensure serviceability of the rooms before allotting it to guests.

Housekeeping - House keeping was equally poor as they were to be requested for basic toiletries and linen.

Management - Management cared a damn to the request of the guest and were really insensitive towards the guest's requirement.

Food Service - Staff was either not trained or ill trained to attend to the guests for meals.

Food Preparation - Food preparation was sumptuous for all three meals of the day, that was the only good thing about the hotel. Another good point is it's location, which is central to city and important places to visit.

My complete vacation of three days was spoiled due to these issues in the room. I would not recommend anyone to reserve your stay in this home either for work or for leisure.

Terrible Experience – Not Worth the Price I recently stayed at this hotel and to say it was a disaster would be an understatement. The hotel claims to be a four-star property, but it fails in almost every aspect.Parking & Security Let's start with the parking – there’s barely any space, and it’s chaotic. After struggling to park, I was immediately approached by beggars harassing guests as soon as they got out of their cars. It made the experience extremely uncomfortable. The security did nothing to manage the situation, standing by idly while the guests were bothered.Room & Housekeeping The room was shockingly under-equipped for a so-called four-star hotel. There were no basic toiletries, no towels, and shockingly, no refrigerator. How is that even acceptable in a hotel of this level? When I tried to use the washroom, I discovered there was no hot water, and even the cold water had inadequate pressure. Bathing, shaving, or even washing hands became a frustrating ordeal. It’s disgraceful that they cannot maintain basic plumbing.Pool & Cleanliness The pool area was equally disappointing. It was dirty and poorly maintained. The water looked murky, and there was no proper cleaning happening around the pool area. I didn’t feel comfortable using it at all.Food & Service The food was bland and lacked variety. Breakfast was supposed to be included, but it was hardly edible, and the service was terribly slow. Even the staff seemed indifferent to guest concerns, and basic hospitality was missing.
