I stayed at this property for 4 days & 3 nights from 17 July to 20 July 2024. As I checked in the room which I was allotted had an issue with the AC system, AC was leaking & the floor was full of water.
I requested reception to fix the issue, but my room was changed as they told that the technical snag will take long to be fixed.
As I happened to use the washroom there was no hot water & even the cold water was not coming of adequate flow for bathing and shaving neither in washbasin nor in the hand faucet & over head shower. I requested housekeeping to fix the issue, technician could do a temporary arrangement & thereafter this was an everyday affair to request for a fix.
Even the basic toiletries and towels were not placed in the room & there was no refrigerator in the room, although, hotel claims to be a four star hotel. I had to request all these. My request for a refrigerator was entertained after a complete day, that too when I requested it thrice and pleaded that I have a small kid, for whom eatables & milk is required to be stored in the refrigerator, finally had to walk down to service manager for the request to be attended.
I had breakfast & one major meal in my package. First day as I requested for lunch as first major meal, I was told that it can be served in the Geoffrey bar, but the staff was not welcoming. Staff seemed to be untrained, I had to request for cutlery and water in the table, there was no one to attend. I had to literally request them for everything. Although food preparation was awesome & delicious and that was the only saving grace.
Even in the breakfast the spread is limited. Same goes for the dinner, although they charge you for a buffet dinner, however, would sheepishly tell you to select from a limited menu, giving reason that buffet is not arranged as the guest strength is limited, This happened with me on both the days.
During breakfast also, staff was least bothered to ensure that cutlery & water is placed for the guests. These were to be requested from the staff every day during breakfast.
In the nutshell,
Rooms - property is old & rooms need an upgradation. Hotel management is required to ensure serviceability of the rooms before allotting it to guests.
Housekeeping - House keeping was equally poor as they were to be requested for basic toiletries and linen.
Management - Management cared a damn to the request of the guest and were really insensitive towards the guest's requirement.
Food Service - Staff was either not trained or ill trained to attend to the guests for meals.
Food Preparation - Food preparation was sumptuous for all three meals of the day, that was the only good thing about the hotel. Another good point is it's location, which is central to city and important places to visit.
My complete vacation of three days was spoiled due to these issues in the room. I would not recommend anyone to reserve your stay in this home either for work or for leisure.

Read moreThe experience was far from what I expected, given the reputable Radisson brand associated with this hotel, which is managed by Sarovar Hotels, my expectations were understandably high, but the reality was deeply disappointing. Delayed Check-In Resolution: Upon arrival, we encountered an issue with the key to one of the rooms. It took the staff over 40 minutes and several failed attempts to resolve the problem. During this time, we had no choice but to crowd into a single room while waiting.
Unclean and Dysfunctional Bathrooms: Later that evening, we discovered mud in the bathtub of one of the rooms. We attempted to clean it ourselves by draining water, only to realize that the blackish particles were coming from the tap itself. Shockingly, this issue was present in both rooms. While they sent someone to clean, it became clear that the problem was far more severe, and they eventually had to call in a plumber. This wasted more than 2 hours of our vacation dealing with hotel staff, housekeepers, and plumbers, rather than enjoying our stay.
Room Change and Further Issues: Despite requesting a room change, the staff delayed the process. Later in the evening, we were told to shift to rooms. However, upon returning after dinner, we found that while one room was fine, the AC in the other room was not functioning properly. It took several attempts to reach reception and housekeeping before anyone came to check the AC, only to inform us that there was nothing they could do.
Incompetent Handling and Disregard for Guests: Despite our repeated attempts to resolve the issue, the staff’s response was slow and unprofessional. After escalating the situation, they finally agreed to cancel our booking and refund the money. However, this involved a lengthy 40-minute call with the Radisson central helpline, which was incredibly frustrating.

The hotel claims to be a four-star property, but it fails in almost every aspect.Parking & Security Let's start with the parking – there’s barely any space, and it’s chaotic. After struggling to park, I was immediately approached by beggars harassing guests as soon as they got out of their cars. It made the experience extremely uncomfortable. The security did nothing to manage the situation, standing by idly while the guests were bothered.Room & Housekeeping The room was shockingly under-equipped for a so-called four-star hotel.
