Went as a guest and came back as friends is the summary of my review of this place & host. What an amazing host Ratna (and family) is!! Both the lovely kids & friendly dogs would never let you get bored, especially if you visit this place with kids & family. Ratna makes you feel as if you came to your own native and property. When I looked for stay near the Shivanasamudram falls this place came up. With some trepidation I booked the place. It’s a farm close to the mountains just off the Barachukki falls road. Took a while to get there Run by a wonderful and affectionate family. They treat you like a close friend. Gave us tasty food Itsvery basic accommodation but we enjoyed it thoroughly. You can walk around watch birds n trek to the hilltop n just chill. Ideal for family no booze allowed. The location of this camp enable me to view unforgettable moon rising during Holi purnima, surrounded by three hills and amazing breeze in night soothes the soul immediately. The owner and the caretakers are very helpful and cooperative. Specifically the owner made us so comfortable with everything that we forgot we are strangers and guests for just 2 days. Looking forward to visit the place again during monsoon to enjoy the scenic beauty and warm hospitality. One point, the owner does not allow consumption of alcohol in the premises, which is perfectly acceptable, those we needs alcohol to enjoy life, must not pollute that place....
